It's difficult to dismiss this. I mean yeah, you can say "swamp, Deep State, RINO, warmonger" and all that, but superficial slogans don't really address this letter and why so many prominent experts would go this far and publicly denounce a former president. There's a lot to think about in that letter if you actually care about national security.

Biden already expanded and strengthened that ACA. It’s one of many reasons we still run $2 trillion a year in deficits long after the COVID emergency. Most of the expansion she wants is for illegal immigrants. The ACA has cost tax payers way more than it was supposed to in the first place.

Social Security and Medicare were one of those things you were supposed to get out what you put in (benefit is tied to the wages you contributed to the program), which is why they capped the wages, as it was meant as a forced savings program to provide a minimum level of benefits. It was never meant to be a full retirement program. By uncapping the wages she wants to turn it into another Robinhood tax scheme. In my state, state employees don’t even pay into social security.

After Harris is elected we will have to keep her good ideas but deal with her more liberal instincts. We should never incentivize bad behavior.
