You are conflating issues here.

You initially said the higher tax rates were causing companies to leave USA and take jobs with them.

It's lower labor costs outside of the US that caused that, not tax rates.

They are keeping their cash overseas supposedly because of the tax rates.

They want the lower tax rates to bring the cash back so they can pay dividends or buy back stock.

Show me how the lower rates will bring iPhone manufacturing jobs here.

Unemployment peaked at 10% in 2010 as companies and local governments shed jobs in panic, then had 7 years of consecutive month-over-month job growth.

You have to be uncontrollably biased to think that Obama's economic policies failed under the light of hard data.

I pointed out a 7 year trend compared to his one year high point.

People say AT&T is giving $1000 bonuses or Burger king moved to Canada - that's cherry picking.

Absolutely. You can pick out some nice stories among the stock dive, housing collapse and massive layoffs.

And we have good stories and good macro data now.

Unemployment is way down - that's good.

Stock market is up - that's good

Corporate profits are at an all time high - that's good

Wages have been creeping up - that's good

Housing market is stable - that's good

So why did we just pass a big tax stimulus if all of those numbers are so good?

What isn't so good is the healthcare system.

Subsidies have not been ensured and have been pulled in some cases.

The insurance exchange advertising budget was slashed

The stick that keeps people paying health insurance and bringing average premiums down has been tossed

Nothing has been passed to make any of it better

This is complete BS. Every day I drive on roads that were built with stimulus money. Also, I used to run with a guy who worked on solar projects funded by stimulus money. Without it, he would not have had a job. And that's just my own personal experience in one tiny corner of the nation.

Those projects did get completed. You can look it up. Every project was carefully tracked and results were made public.

Why did the stimulus take so many years to work? That's not what a stimulus package is supposed to do.
