The standard Pete K used for his record is the best standard used to document a transcon where observers along the entire way is not reasonable. Multiple data collection methods, real time positioning and open to the public, photos along the way, witness statements, video, etc. The data gets a review by a group of experts who comment about pace, elevation gains, speeds, heart rate, etc.

I wonder what Gary will say after he reads the letter from Richard / Race Drone. Or will he just delete it from URC? There are ways to fake Strava data, like having someone else on the team do some of the running with the tracker. We've already seen Scam_Watcheroo fake heart rate data, I'm sure he'll be able to do the same with cadence. It would really just be making sure to add the right amount of random fuzz.

I was feeling a lot more confident about the attempt before finding out they were deliberately turning trackers off, and for hours at a time. I just can't figure out a way to explain that.

One of two things. He got arrested when Mimi's husband called 911. Or, it was a set up by her husband to discourage random followers--they must be-approved by the husband before they are allowed to join her. My guess is the latter.

Between Mimi breadcrumbs of 4:22 and 4:30 pm there was a full-on stop. These have occurred multiple times since she started using the Garmin. At first I though they were an anomaly. But there are too many of them to be that.

Mimi, here's a tip, don't use injury to the feet, I reported on my Dave that "he's feet are shredded" and the LR trolls went to town on it, same with Dave's pal Rob Young when he pulled out with feet problems.

My advice, go the knee injury that you had the op on.

A similar full stop occurred at 2:31-2:33, 1:19-1:22, 12:39-12:41, and on and on going backwards.

On Mimi's own facebook on the thread where she freaks out saying someone is following them, a team member called Jenny actually states it was them that called the cops.

But indeed, the whole thing could be a lie.

Remember that Darren Kavinoky did that too (see the thread on his cheated Trans-con) He created a fake person on here and they implied he'd assaulted them when he went to join Darren, then Darren made videos implying he'd dealt with this person. All a lie to try and stop others joining his scam "run", that was another RV ride with a few minutes of cycling

Jenny also says people have contacted them through the web site and been able to run with Mimi. We have seen no evidence of that. I'm not saying it didn't happen but wouldn't there be a photo, a video, a tweet, something? There sure was a lot with Pete.

Another full stop from 10:48-10:55. This is a long one; pit stop? maybe in the RV?

Others from 10:09-10:14, 8:40-8:46, 7:16-7:18. Many of these occur at crossing with country roads.

More: 06:27-6:35, 5:19-5:21.

Very interesting. I haven't looked but I'll check out Sandy's tracker and see if she has the same pattern of zero miles and multiple speeds that are exactly the same.
