When you win Championships like Pat Henry does, you don't have to worry about having a woman on your staff. I can't remember the last time Henry had a woman on his staff. And there isn't a damn thing anyone can do because he just keeps winning Championships.
It would and is very hard to put a whole new track& field staff togerter and not have a
afircan american on the staff I would have to think. Im sure there next hire will be, if not to me that speaks voulmes period!!!!

This coaching game is still being played by the same players, even with all the rotation. plenty of Qualified Minority coaches, rarely get a chance, but most programs are content to let them be the man/woman behind the Man/Woman

Right. You want to cry discrimination, do it somewhere else. The least likely to get a job is a qualified male. Seen it happen over and over again. Happened where I was. Admin said, point blank, we will hire a minority female. They did, one in fact, that did not meet the criteria the admins set. They left behind several men (I don't know their race). They presented 3 candidates to pick from and one was a distance coach (we needed a throws/jumps coach.) So go cry me a river.

Sounds just like his days as Stanford head coach. 1 year complete and already two of them are gone. The moment he announced his staff you could tell it was temporary. Plus, the moment any of his assistants get a better or similar financial offer, or perform poorly with their own recruits, you will see the coaching carousel turn again. The honeymoon period will soon come to an end for all his assistants. Yes, the grass is greener as well...

Has anyone been hired at UCF or Illinois St or Milikin?

Would be a good move for Hall since he is out of a job and will take over when JJ is gone next year. He will then bring back Johnson and a few of the Clemson staff.

Heard this weekend that Oklahoma State may be hiring a sprint coach from Auburn. Nothing definite, just a rumor.
