I thought bro was talking about guys’ teams. SFHS (MV) boys missed state this year. I’m just saying tho, as much as Jesuit is solid. Don’t sleep on Vacaville, they’re on the come up and have a pretty young team. Jesuit and Vacaville will be the DII powerhouses

No I’m just very autistic about high school xc and track. Ik the big names from years ago and the current ones, but my main interest are the ones in Cali (since I am from Cali lol). Also, Kumar and Garcia ran for Cal Berkeley (my good friend currently runs there rn) which was my dream school to run for when I was ambitious about running. I wanted to shatter every school record, win state, go to NxN as an individual, and put my city on the map.

Menlo is very likely to be 3rd best California team based on what they did at Crystal Springs Sections. The contenders are Menlo, Glendora, Matilda Torres (looked very bad at central section though), Oaks Christian and Great Oak. I feel like it's unlikely these teams get at-large because they didn't travel. Menlo it's probably 0% because they went to disneyland instead of facing competition which won't be a good look for the committee
I don't think Rich Gonzalez will care. He seems chill and like come on, this is only HIGH SCHOOL cross country. What matters is that Menlo showed up and mogged the rest of the competition by running the fastest team time.

That’s actually crazy, you got two of the biggest Santa Cruz County Runners now at the same school- Eli Fitchen-Young and Jeremy Kain (Scott’s Valley- also the Santa Cruz County Mile Record holder) both at Duke.
DII has the advantage of being an individual and team heavy- I’m expecting DII to be pretty fast (maybe not German Fernandez levels of fast, but maybe something atunded to 4-5 Matt Strangio and 2 Josh Bells)
I don’t know where I can find out which teams an individuals are in each division. So can someone please lay out to me who are the top teams/individuals in division 2? Aydon? Griffin??
+ Josef Berhan since he improved around 15 seconds at Crystal Springs since before Roughrider, which would put him around ~14:55 at Woodward Park. As well as a small chance for Alijah Murillo to finish top 5 again this year. The Jesuit runners are also all going to be trying to have a good day so maybe we'll see a couple of them "relatively" up there as well.
