Democrat James Malone is projected to win a special election for Pennsylvania’s 36th State Senate district on Tuesday night, narrowly triumphing in a district President Donald Trump had won by 15 points in November.
1) Hegseth blew the cover of a human source in Yemen. So much for that guy.
2) Once again, the Trump admin gave away secret info from Israel. Terrible.
3) Start to see why we are allies with Israel now? They know what they are doing.
4) The guy entering a building was seen by a human being on our side.
5) Allies are certainly now withholding key info from us now, given the clown show in the Trump admin. Hire assistant store managers to be CEO, you will fail.
Fire, prosecute, court-martial.
WASHINGTON—Israel provided sensitive intelligence from a human source in Yemen on a key Houthi military operative targeted in an attack described by national security adviser Mike Waltz in a Signal chat with senior Trump officials, two U.S. officials said. Shortly after the U.S. strikes began, Waltz texted that a key target of the attacks, a Houthi missile expert, had been seen entering his girlfriend’s building, which he said had been destroyed. Israeli officials complained privately to U.S. officials that Waltz’s texts became public, one U.S. official said.

Democrats always do better in low-turnout, special elections. If every eligiblie voter had voted in 2024, the NYT wrote Trump would have won by an even greater landslide

But why is most of our foreign policy Israel first, instaed of America first? And why is AIPAC the only foreign lobbying group that somehow doesn't have to register as a foreign agent?

It would be good to know if the deaths of those US soldiers at the Belarus border can be traced to the Trumps teams careless attitude towards communication security.
Pete Hegseth loves to shoot his mouth off to impress others.
David Weigel @daveweigel The Democratic Party is doomed and dead, and also powerful enough to win an Amish country state senate race and spook Stefanik out of vacating her seat
CNN Business “Florida debates lifting some child labor laws to fill jobs vacated by undocumented immigrants” By Jordan Valinsky, CNN
And they haven’t even started the mass deportation yet. This shortage is from immigrants simply deciding that this crap isn’t worth it so they will find work elsewhere. Go pick your own strawberries.
The White House has effectively poison pilled the minerals deal. The deal now effectively turns over all of Ukraine's natural resources to the US with no security guaranty. The original concept was something more akin to a joint venture agreement where the US would have an interest in minerals that would be related to its investment in the same. Now, it is basically a transfer of everything to the US. Trump admin claims that this would ensure that Russia respects Ukraine's borders because Putin won't invade if the US is pumping natural gas near Donbas. But that doesn't mean that Putin can tell Trump that he is invading and the US can still have the minerals once he takes over.
What is really happening is that this is just like the meeting in the White House. It is a set up to get Ukraine to turn against Trump. Then Trump will claim that Ukraine doesn't want peace and cut off all arms and intelligence.
This alone will probably cost the nation more than Doge will save.
Republicans think they can be total ashholes bccause America is so important there won't be a consequence. Guess again, jerks. You are killing the golden goose along with the federal government.
Forward bookings from Canada to the U.S. have fallen by more than 70 percent for each month through the end of September, compared to the same period last year. April has seen the steepest decline, with just 296,000 bookings — down 76 percent from 1.3 million. And if you think it's only Canadians who no longer want to visit the U.S., you're sorely mistaken. Many Europeans have canceled their planned vacations to the States as well—a trend that will result in a devastating blow worth many billions of dollars to the U.S. economy and cost thousands of Americans their jobs.
