How much disproportionate power should the low populated states have? When the constitution was adopted, Virginia's population was 21 times that of Delaware. Today, California has 67 times the population of Wyoming.

What a ret@rt post... making it based on the popular vote would do exactly that - eliminate the problem of states having any bearing on POTUS selection. The only fair system to pick a president is one in which every vote has the same weight.
This idea that Californians and New Yorkers would run everything in a popular vote for President is so stupid. The Republican votes in those states would suddenly count as much as they do in Arizona and Georgia.
It’s a completely fair system and because the GOP knows they’re unlikely to win the popular vote going forward, they would never go along with it.

RCP was taken over by right wingers some time after 2012. I remember checking the site on the morning of election day 2016 and they had it at 50-50. I was shocked because everyone else had Hillary winning. My routine is to check 538 and other polling aggregators, and then going to RCP to get a sense for a more right leaning average.

This week, while on pretrial release for inciting violence with lies, Trump broadcast lies about legal immigrant people causing this group of people to be targeted with death threats. Also causing innocent people to have their lives disrupted with fear and uncertainty as churches, schools and government offices were forced to close due to bomb threats. Trump's VP admits that he will continue to create stories (lies) for purposes that he deems worthy to get media to cover them. Trump is free to travel the country and say more lies and incite more violence.
