Pete Hegseth in 2023 on Biden "handling classified documents... flippantly": "If at the very top there's no accountability," then we have "two tiers of justice."
If this is actually true, which I do not, then it is the fault of one of Waltz's underlings (possibly a Dem leaning inter) who purposely added a reporter to a chat to embarrass the department. Hegseth does not have any fault here. As Trump has noted this is possibly a scam to gain publicity for a failing business. This will not save this dinosaur of a publication.
This administration needs to hire Laura Loomer for vetting right now. She caught Hunter claiming poverty in South Africa while getting 10s of millions of dollars in illegal security from the Secret Service and US embassay.

Thanks for a clear and well written post with reasonable positions and arguments.
Unfortunately, as you stated, the standard argument of a Trump supporter is to assign an extreme position to their political opponents. Then they argue against the extreme position, ignoring the arguments the poster is actually writing.
Example "Liberals want illegal foreign gang members free to kill and rape Americans, in that order!". A totally ridiculous statement that applies to no one. The retort "Deporting foreign gang members is fine if due process and laws are followed" is completely ignored and insults follow.
My suggustion is not to engage those who try to use these strawman arguments. Post facts. They are Trump supporter kryptonite.
And you are a dull, sore loser liberal activist without an original thought in your body.
Native born citizens commit crime. Therefore, any crime committed by an illegal should be ignored. Great logic.
It’s really easy to think that you’re winning an argument when you fabricate positions for the opposition, isn’t it? Cite one instance where I stated that “crime committed by an illegal should be ignored.” I dare you to quote me on it.
I take the position that tragedies and preventable losses of innocent lives should be addressed and reasonable steps should be taken to prevent such future losses in life, no matter the source. And your argument against that is what? Nonsense?
I realize pretending to care about things you don't actually care up sends a little thrill up your leg. Good for you.
I doubt if you’ve ever realized anything. Ever.
You've let in tens of millions of illegals and people like are more concerned with old woman praying outside of abortion clinics than you are with any of the problems you're pretending you're concerned with above.
I have let me tens of millions of illegals and people like (missing word) are more concerned with abortion clinic protests than life threatening issues? Me? Only in your imagination.
I have not let any illegal immigrants into our country. I’ve never been in a position at CBP, USCIS or the Department of Homeland Security to allow any person into this country, so that’s another goose egg for you. I also haven’t supported political candidates taking any such policies since none exist on any significant, meaningful national level. I support greatly increasing the resources to process asylum cases, given that present law states that if someone crosses into US territory without permission and immediately surrenders to government agents to claim asylum, that they have in fact complied with the law and have a right for their case to be heard.
I also support significantly increasing the number of agents and motion sensor tech along the border to more effectively apprehend persons who do cross illegally. Do you take issue with that?
The 2nd Amendment isn't going away. It is foundational to the republic. Mindlessly bleating about taking people's guns away doesn't help anyone. It just gives you the little thrill up your leg and makes you feel special.
Is it legal for you to own a nuclear weapon? No? So there are restrictions on the Second Amendment.
I want fewer innocent people getting gunned down in this country. I say let’s implement gun laws akin to what Switzerland has in place. I think it would save lives and still allow responsible, sane adults the right to hunt and to reasonably defend themselves and their property. What’s the GOP response to such a recommendation? Ultimately, they’re going to be against anything that will hurt gun sales in this country, because they want the campaign funding from the gun lobby. And that is more important to them than saving lives. There are nutjobs that think they need an arsenal of automatic weapons to defend themselves, which is clearly insane.
If you’re against implementing Swiss-style gun laws in the US, give me a number on how many innocent gun deaths are worth virtually enfettered access to firearms. Or you could say that there is no limit. I have a proposal to secure the rights of responsible Americans to hunt and defend themselves, while also curtailing the number of senseless tragedies that we see every year. Are you going to tell me that law abiding gun owners would cease to be law abiding, should this President and Congress put forth Swiss-style gun laws? I’m all for more effective solutions. But right now, all the GOP has is wishing and hoping.
Almost every problem the country faces comes from bad parenting. The Democrat party is wholly dedicated to the destruction of the American family.
Do you think it’s strange that the US is the only country that has bad parenting? I’ll give you a better hint on what distinguishes the US from every other developed country in the world. The US has several times as many guns per person as any other country in the world. If you litter the country in bear traps, you wouldn’t be surprised if lots of people found themselves getting caught in them. On the subject of family, is it Republicans who are proposing paid parental leave? Or universal health care for children? How’s Trump’s daycare plan going?
It seems that you think of everyone on the left as this Liz Warren caricature of an anti-white man hater who wants to switch every person’s gender identity at birth and means to turn the US into the USSR. You don’t seem attached to reality in any way.
If Hegseth is confirmed to be drinking, it will be over for him. No way Trump allows that behavior especially in his position, having never tasted alcohol and understanding the harm it does. Hegseth is not strong enough to overcome alcohol in his diet. Hes good and will get better and better but he’s not Rubio or Vance
Vance has publicly talked about having some beers with his buddies. I do agree he is strong AF, though.
No doubt. It’s pretty normal to have beers with buddies, that’s about as human as it gets. He’s unreal strong for sure

After we (Australia) had one big mass shooting in Tasmania in mid 90's, the government offered a 'gun buy back', which was universally accepted.
People can still hunt etc, but control on licencing is tighter and enforced. Checks on gun safety regular and random.
No one misses the guns. You can safely walk the street not worrying about being shot by a drugged or deranged person.
We are looking at the face of the Democratic Party, and an Historic moment in our Democracy. We should all take a moment to reflect on the greatness of living at this moment in time. We are watching the rise of the most powerful political party the World has ever seen, and great new allies rising to the top. Italy playing it smart. El Salvador playing it smart. Russia as well. MAGA is going nowhere. And it’s an extraordinary thing that this party rose in America.
I hope you stay home on open mic night. Comedy’s not for everyone.
The Democrat party position is that restricting abortion to 16 weeks is what nazis do.
I don’t think you can find a major national politician who has stated that, but for certain the Slippery Slope argument has been made as far as restriction before the point of viability.
But let’s not look at restriction. Why doesn’t this Congress create legislation that says that abortion is legal until 16 weeks in the whole United States. Trump would sign it since he doesn’t care. Tell me why that wouldn’t be a win for the country. Is the Religious Right going to splinter and reject Trump and go third party in response and hand the whole government to the Democrats? You tell me.
The Democrat(sic) party is for open border and completely refused to do anything on the border because they believe they are importing voters. How'd that work out for ya?
Why lie? The Democrats have enough incompetence as it is. There’s no candidate of any significance who has advocated for open borders. There’s no one of any standing who says, “open the gates at the points of entries, scrap all the entry and visa requirements and pull back all the border agents and detection plans and let in anyone who wants in.” Does not exist except in that wee brain of yours.
We have a progressive tax system and 50% of the country doesn't even pay taxes. Democrats just want to "punish the rich" without having the slightest idea what that means.
Government is ineffective by definition. Anyone who thinks the solution to government inefficiency is larger government is a fool.
Who taught you that? Denmark’s top tax bracket tops out at 52% and 80% of Danes report high levels of satisfaction with their judiciary system, health care and the education system. Tell me what the Danes are doing wrong that is also leaving their citizens far more satisfied than ours.
Democrats don't want easy voting they want to make sure it's possible to cheat. There is no valid reason not to support voter ID. None.
They fooled you on this. Do you want many, well-staffed polling places to make it convenient to vote?
Poll taxes are illegal. If you’re going to require an ID for voting, then those IDs and the documentation to obtain them must also be free. How many examples of US citizens being unable to obtain an ID do you want?
The Department of Education did not exist for 200 years and the US was doing better in education than it has been since the DoE was created. It's useless bureaucracy. You like it because your cult told you you like it. You probably don't even know what it does that you're pretending to be so excited about.
Could you cite the date of my cult meeting and the materials that were handed out to indoctrinate us on the Department of Education? Or is this more crap coming from a feeble imagination?
I also don’t think you’re very good at debating and this is a clear example why. You said that Democrats positions are in the wrong with public opinion. To counter that, I stated that a majority of Americans want a functional Department of Ed. And your reply was that the Department of Ed. was useless and a waste. That wasn’t my argument, was it? I stated that around 6 out of 10 want the Department of Ed up and running and this Fox News poll estimates that 65% of voters agree:
Biden was blamed for inflation because printing and spending money causes inflation. Thank God for Sinema and Manchin or inflation would be even worse.
You mean like stimulus checks with the President’s signature on them? What did that do for inflation? From Fortune Magazine:
The early days of the pandemic were among the darkest economic moments in recent history for low-income Americans struggling with unemployment and lost incomes. The Trump administration quickly provided relief by signing a $2 trillion package in March 2020 that sent $1,200 checks to every American who earned less than $75,000 along with enhanced unemployment, and forgivable business loans. President Joe Biden followed with additional stimulus money. In total, American households received more than 472 million pandemic relief paymentsworth $803 billion. In total, nearly $5 trillion went to households, businesses, local governments, and other institutions.
And the programs worked, at least as far as their intended purpose. “Material hardship in U.S. households fell sharply” as a result of the payments, a 2021 Census Bureau survey found, including for problems like malnutrition, mental health, and financial instability.
For months, partisan debates have raged over whether the early pandemic stimulus fueled the past year’s high inflation, or if high prices were caused by other factors like China’s COVID lockdowns tangling supply chains.
The answer, according to a new study by the St. Louis Fed, is that government stimulus was indeed responsible for some U.S. inflation. The authors found that 2.6 percentage points of the 7.9% 12-month inflation rate in February 2022 was due to stimulus.
The authors found that stimulus payments led to substantially more demand for goods in the run-up to 2022, but industrial production at the time was unable to keep up. The result was a higher amount of “excess inflation,” they said.
A lot of factors go into it. Energy prices, backlogs in work orders and supply chain issues from shutting down the world economy in 2020. Inflation was not confined to the US in years following COVID.
Do you worry that the government under Trump will have to increase borrowing, now that he’s crippled the IRS and tax revenue may drop by $500 billion and he’s pledged to not cut entitlements or the defense budget?
Most people do not vote on the transgender nonsense but 8 out of 10 Americans think people like you are disgusting for wanting to mutilate children and 9 out 10 Americans think it's absurd to let mentally ill men compete in women's and girl's sports.
Good news for you: no one is advocating for mutilating anyone! Now that we’ve established that, who here supports patients and their doctors being able to pursue their best recommended course of treatment?
There needs to be a division in sports based on testosterone. It’s as simple as that. It’s why we have a separate division for women.
The problem the Democrats are having now is that you have no soul.
Oh, is that it? Let’s find Al Green and ask him to help them get some soul back in their step.
You openly loathe the working class
I do? What did I do to give you that idea? You’ll understand the absurdity in such an accusation since you don’t know me and have never seen me interact with anyone ever.
Your party is formed entirely of the rich and the low IQ "educated" class.
The unaffiliated is formed of the rich and low IQ “educated?” Check your sources. Meanwhile, on planet Earth:
President-elect Donald Trump has assembled the wealthiest presidential administration in modern history, with at least 13 billionaires set to take top government posts.
There's a reason your approval rating is in the toilet and no one in your party has even figured out why yet.
My approval rating? Who is spending money on polls to survey public opinion on me?
The US is always strongest when the government is divided and has to compromise.
It certainly reins in how far either side can go.
The Democrat party has gone so far off the reservation it's impossible to compromise with you. All of your core beliefs are either idiotic or insane.
This is, of course, a crock of sh-t. A majority of people want reasonable access to abortion, affordable health care, reasonable gun laws, and so on. Without inflation (or with a better response to it) and without an 82 year old man or a woman at the last minute on the ballot, the Democrats would have retained the White House.
And when Republicans have pissed people off and all those “how am I doing right now” voters don’t feel any improvement in their lives in 2028, they’ll throw the bums out again.
Please note that all 3 of the articles you posted citing democrat corruption and election interference were prosecuted by the democratic justice dept or democratic districts.
Pete Hegseth in 2023 on Biden "handling classified documents... flippantly": "If at the very top there's no accountability," then we have "two tiers of justice."
How many tiers of unemployment are you on?
And yet . . . that doesn't really address his point, does it? Ad homineminganother poster is not rebutting him.

It is a very common human foible - when one has some success in one area, it is common to start thinking that one is brilliant and competent in every area.
