Braelyn Combe is an absolute BEAST in relays. Her finish at Nike Indoors DMR, the 4x800 at CIF State, and now the 4x800 at NON were all so impressive. So was her 1600 finish to beat Hanne Thomsen to win State by a lean. Those are all great races to re-watch.
Her anchor at NON 4x800 Saturday night was Sadie-esque:
She was 100m away from finishing 2nd in the Championship mile on Sunday but ran out of gas.
Either way, that girl is still way underrated despite a 4:35 1600m. I'm a big fan (despite her repeatedly beating a lot of girls that I have worked with).

I don’t think Combe is underrated. She has been a huge star for Santiago, coming on strong at the right time this season, and a big time college signing. Combe’s and Samson’s transfer has been a blessing for Santiago’s 4x800 relay team. Smart recruiting!

I think you're agreeing with me, by saying she's had big results, but since she doesn't get as much hype, as she's been overshadowed by her teammate, Blade, and also by Sadie.
As Blade, Engelhardt, Hanne Thomsen and the Herbst twins move on to college, it will open the stage for girls like Braelyn Combe, Chiara Dailey and Jaeyln Williams to get a lot of the spotlight in girls' running in So Cal next school year. Watch out for Claremont's Grace Smith, too.
I believe Jayden Hernandez went to Dana Hills on his own terms, never was recruited and mentioned to many that he didn't even know how historic Dana was until he came.
I'm simply stating that the word on the street is that he's transferring from GB to Jesuit next year.
Remember when I called this and my post kept getting deleted? and Connor Bilodeau will be eligible to compete for Jesuit XC in time for Clovis Invitational. That team will be tough to beat this season.

So he really did transfer to Jesuit? That's pretty damn lame NGL
