Actually the DIII school she coached at is in Eastern Texas. I was surprised myself that she went to a DIII school, but it made sense since her husband coaches too and they wanted to be together. Letourneau is a tough place to coach at as its a highly academic, very Christian, out of the middle of nowhere school. Plus they don't have a track on campus. So recruiting must of been tough for her. I met her in person a few times and she is a great person with a tough blue collared Chicago background. But yea....family is first and once you have a family you make the decisions realizing the family will be part of the decision.
