yeah I listened to the pod soon after it dropped and it was highly entertaining in a wild way... the thing about him is that everything he says sounds plausible if you have 0 context but if you know anything or read one of the threads here about him you realize that the guy burns bridges with seemingly EVERY SINGLE person he comes into contact with (quite quickly too). the number of sponsors, athletes, coaches, podcast hosts, etc who have been involved with Sweat Elite and then are never heard from again is seriously mind boggling. that's where his woe is me act necessarily fails. maybe he is in the right as to a few of these interactions but not all (or most) of them.

I assumed Floberg was another discarded tissue after the antisemitic diatribe w/ the side of AI coaching/ contract termination mess with Israeli athletes due to the sudden silence from his end. Apparently, according to Matt, he's back on the bandwagon. For now at least.

How do people watch this garbage? I watched like 30 seconds at the timestamp you linked to and got bored. The video is 35 freaking minutes long - why? Even at 2x that seems ridiculous.

I agree. She's ghastly - so vain, full of self-regard, preening and laughs at her own (not even funny) funny bits. She also throws in her 'love the grind' mantra at random moments from left field. It's painful. I get that she's bright and quick thinking and puts a lot of thought into this garbage which clearly has an audience that is people not like me.

She's getting increasingly disliked and ridiculed by people in the serious side of the sport which is no surprise. Certainly merited.

Yes she's a really excellent distance runner.

I'm sure she's very knowledgable about endurance training for runners of high level and I'm sure she has numerous traits useful for being a good coach for a certain type of runner. None of those things are out of synch with my view of her. I noticed that within days of her first marathon breakthrough she raised her coaching fee by £25 pcm. Then within days of the Berlin 2.25 she raise it by a further £25. This imo reveals something about her. Some may find it admirable. I don't.

Matt Fox says he is rebranding his Sweat Elite training camps bc too many potential customers think that you have to be fast to attend but it's gotta be to avoid the problem of ppl looking up Sweat Elite and see reports of the disasters he leaves in his wake. He even says he is basically copying the title "Eat Run Train" (???) from something else he saw online. Who is still paying their hard earned money to go run around in the middle of Arizona with this man!?! He did sound so whiny describing how Precision Fuel and Hydration dropped him no questions asked and Ketone IQ suspended him under 2025 (" I could probably bring legal action"). 😆
