The compelling question is very simple: why resort to personal attacks? What do you hope to accomplish?

Because they aren’t thinned skin and realize nobody here knows another, it’s banter dumb dumb. Agip gives it and he can take it. same w old running guy and others. we aren’t losing sleep over strong expressions. I harbor no ill will towards anybody posting on this site. How could I, we’ve never met. These are words on paper creating a debate and sometimes a little color is added. It’s never personal. I look at most of it as speaking to bots. If that’s what your are afraid of, then why come here?

I was being sarcastic. I briefly read the Russia vs Ukraine war thread in 2022 and 2023. Now I barely read it. I'd be surprised if anyone here is paid by Russia. But I think there are more people who are tired of excess US foreign involvement and want to be America first. And stopping funding endless, unwinnable wars in Ukraine is part of that.
