-Nothing as dramatic as Big Bad Ben Jackson, I also never heard the phrase wolfpack today. In all honesty and sincerity they ran a good race.

-I thought I spotted the elusive C. Fred Shnozlyn running the course, but alas it was merely Toucan Sam in halftights (quite the cameo if you ask me). Seamus did however grace us with his presence via message board earlier. Also in attendance was Nate Slowe palling around with Varble. I had to change my pants after I saw that.

-I did see many mohawks, attention was needed by many.

-I heard his car broke down but he persevered and I saw him in all his glory. He had on the pants but no jacket (if I remember correctly). Not sure if it was washed, I did the smell test but the smell of New Jersey filled the air.

-I don't know, but my theory is he did indeed succeed however in an unfortunate turn of events he was unable to retrieve his bounty from whatever bodily orifices they may have been stored in before the gun. Hence his race.
Will Cortland's Jared Newell and Fredonia's Tom Williams disappear into the woods for a suspicous amount of time again like at SUNYACs? Same with Fredonia's Brian Gallagher and Plattsburgh's Chris Taylor. What's up with these Queensbury HS kids? And why no love for Tommy's little brother Jon?

-RIT definitely won the spirit award. No contest. However with Fredonia, Geneseo and St. Lawrence fans running amok with weapons I was sure a LARPing battle would ensue. To my dismay that never took place.

-It wasn't and I did. I met many of them IRL at the meet. I was charming.

I've been to the past few regional meets and as far as atmosphere goes this was the best. The fan turnout was incredible and with the exception of the one SLU guy the crowd was great. Congrats to the national qualifying teams and individuals, best of luck in Ohio.
Thank you Mike Woods and the Geneseo team for hosting what was a great meet on a great day. Despite being very hung over I had a lot of fun. Good to run into Nofear Rootbeer and youloveit and a couple others.
This thread was both a lot of fun and very informative, I look forward to 2010's and the many questions it may bring.

Before this thread completely dies:
1. NCC
2. Cortland
3. Williams
4. NYU
5. UW-La Crosse
6. Geneseo
7. Allegheny
a) I don't think that anyone will catch NCC.
b) Williams had a big race last weekend and I think that they will be in the mix.
c) I think NYU will be hungrier than Geneseo. And they will finish 7 guys.
d) I don't think La Crosse is as good as the polls say. But they're still good.
I also want SLU and RIT to both beat Emory because the south region sucks, and both place top-20 (it will take good races from both for those two things to happen).
Finally, to anyone who reads this from one of the schools that is going, make sure everyone on the team and more gets down there to yell their asses off, lets show everyone that we have the best region in the country. Besides, when you pack 10 people into a hotel room it's not very expensive.
