Where's that whistleblower affidavit that was going to be released, supposedly proving that Harris cheated? Seems like it would have been out in the public by now, if there really was an affidavit.
Trump is truly a fascinating person and really so are the Trumpers who follow and believe him.
We all know Trump's history of pathological lying about his winning and accomplishments. Everytime he lost an election or primary to Ted Cruz, to Hillary Clinton (popular vote) and Biden he claimed he really won but was cheated.
He always claimed his crowds were historically the largest crowds. When His crowd numbers declined and Harris's number surpassed his, he denied it and she paid and bused people in.
He always claimed he knew more than anyone else for just about everything.
So here's the interesting part. He gets absolutely destroyed in the debate and all reputable polls indicated that a clear majority saw it that way. So what's he going to say afterward?
Trump can never admit lose, so he goes to the extreme and says it was his best debate ever. And he starts rattling a number of poll results declaring that people said he won. He gave at least 5 results with some of the percentages of him winning with 86%, 70%, 75% of people saying he won. (I don't know if he made up all the numbers but he did see reputable polls results where big majorities of people thought he lost)
Question: Is Trump consciously lying or has he lost touch with reality and actually thinks he did win and that huge majorities of people also thought he won?
His he a liar or just crazy?
And how can the Trumpers believe all the nonsense he says? Is it true cult behavior or are they lying to support him?
"The Atlantic" in conjuction with researchers from Johns Hopkins has recently started a podcast series "Autocracy in America". The first episode released to date "Start with a lie" explores this question in depth.
The gist of their thesis is that authoritarians use a "big lie" to disorient the populous from rational behavior based on objective truth and our normal sense of morality. The followers increasingly go along with the big lies as an outward sign of membership to the movement. The movement demands fealty to the "big lie" or exiles those who do not do so. Adam Kinzinger is featured extensively in this first episode.
Episode is 38 minutes long, so not a short take, but I recommend it highly. I've linked Apple podcasts above, but it's available from a number of streaming content services.

How many times has the Trump machine declared that they had proof of something and end up showing NOTHING!
This one contains text transcripts of each podcast. Also the second episode "Capture the Courts" is showing up here, but hadn't made it to Apple yet. Series is advertised to consist of five episodes released weekly.
Featured in the second episode is Renée DiResta who organized the Election Integrity Project (EIP) which did extensive investigation into mis and dis-information surrounding the 2020 election.
Their 2021 report "The Long Fuse - Misinformation and the 2020 Election" is available here:
The report is long (292 pages) but it's worth reading the Executive Summary section at least to get a feel for what the researchers did and what they found about the origins and spread of misinformation around the 2020 election.

Excellent post and link
That’s FANTASTIC!! did he fact check any of bimbos big debate lies? I know jorgon the bot has been looking into it. pretty sure her racially segregated sorority sister didn’t check any. wonder how long she grew up working at McDonald’s and drinking Coca Cola? she’s trying like heck to be the all American girl who was raised in Canada, but think we should fact check that a bit, don’t you?
The Republican Presidential candidate and his VP did this:
NEW -- Springfield City School District tells ABC News that they've evacuated two elementary schools: Perrin Woods and Snowhill Elementary. They're currently releasing those students to their parents.
You’re very confused. No wonder you find T Swift persuasive.
Nobody cares in the least what Taylor Seift thinks, which is why her endorsement has only caused Camela to lose more ground.
i admit i was wrong, i thought she was a trumpet but now quite glad she is not. all these people think they are so important but quickly realize they are not.

You mean the one Gary lifted from a Twitter account named “Black insurrections.”?

Thank you. I will give it a listen on my next run.
Since Trump supporters keep pushing cheating as an excuse for Trump's loss, here is an example from the debate. It is just Trump losing bigly by speaking his mind and has nothing to do with moderators.
Harris says Trump is easily manipulated by flattery and adores dictators. Trump responds by saying how Victor Orban has praised him and what a great leader Orban is. She said he is obsessed about crowds and people are walking out of his rallies from boredom. Then he responds by going on a tirade about having the biggest crowds! It was like a cartoon! Nobody is that dumb, are they?

That’s great, when did she work at McDonald’s? that was my question

I cleaned floors at night in a department store and scooped ice cream when I was in my teens, neither job has ever made it in to my resume. Doesn’t mean I never had them.

That's Definitely more important than the POTUS being easily manipulated by foreign leaders through flattery.
Post debate polls show a small bump for Harris nationally. MI and WI look to be trending towards Harris. PA is dead even, which I do not understand given the big wins for Dems in Gov and senate recently. AZ, NC, GA, and NV are all very tight.
At this point, Trump's support is not going to change at all. His voters are a combination of Trump die hards and conservatives who may not like Trump but would never vote for a Dem. His voters do turn out, but enthusiasm is not high as Trump has not been able to land any blows on Harris and keeps getting caught up in silly stuff fed to him by Laura Loomer and others.
Harris' support is still growing, but not at a rate that would lead anyone to believe that she has this all locked up. She does have an advantage on enthusiasm, especially among black voters, which could tip the scales in PA, WI, MI and maybe even GA and NC. But those states are still very close. She has not done much to get independents and swing voters to go her way. Her debate performance succeeded in showing that Trump is a boob, but everyone already knew that. She has piles of cash and is going to make a huge surge in ad buys and appearances in swing states. But she is still very light on policy and has let Trump land a blow on her in MI where Trump rails against EV mandates and Harris has been silent.
