Well, that’s the most accurate statement you’ve made, and T Swift brought it. I can’t disagree, and it’s really unfortunate that there isn’t a basic litmus test for voting rights.
There ought to be a basic one for running for potus too, like not being a convicted felon or rapist.
Perhaps one who was voted on by her constituents in a primary too? Is that what you mean.

Or do you mean they both suck? Because I agree.
Perhaps one even more basic with a requirement of being voted on by constituents in a primary too? Is that what you mean? Yes, basic requirements for running and basic requirements for voter eligibility like legality, ID, edification in economics and civics, among a few. Yes, we agree again. Good.

Better luck with your pick in 2028! 👋 🍾 🤠 🇺🇸
I agree. Perhaps the GOP can pull a coup on their initial 2028 nominee as well. Maybe go with a libertarian.

I think a lot of people aren’t clear on what a political party is. It’s a non-governmental group that has decided to pool its votes to win elections. It can choose its candidates in any way it wishes.
in fact our system of primaries is fairly new. Parties used to choose the prez nominees at conventions and whatnot. No primaries at all.
arguably that was better, since our primary system is absurdly long, expensive and selects the best salesmen, not the best statesmen. And the radical people show up out of proportion and choose the radicals like trump.
But anyway, nothing wrong in a party choosing its prez nominee.

To where? Socialist Europe? Why would I do that when I can retire to my vast, beautiful, fortified compound in WY and watch the same debacle unfold here in the DS of A, starting in the big cities?
Oh god another tool who thinks Europe is socialist.
you should be banned from all political talk if you think Europe is socialist.

Calling what a lie? Nobody is denying that sometimes babies are born alive after failed abortions.
The point is that the changes to the statute in 2023 have zero to do with the fate of babies born alive, as 0 out of 8 survived prior to the changes.
You're correct about the MN house in 2015, I was looking at the MN state senate, which did have a democratic majority.
The moderator said it was illegal to kill a baby after it was born anywhere in America.
You yourself just admitted it happened in Minnesota.
"Care of fetus was transferred to the second medical doctor. No measures taken to preserve life were reported and the infant did not survive."
He stuck it in the corner and waited for it to die rather than attempting life preserving measures. He killed the baby.
The statute was literally rewritten by Democrats removing the obligation to try to preserve life and replacing it with providing "care".
You're a liar.
1. You know I didn’t moderate the debate, right? So whatever the moderator said doesn’t make me a liar.
2. Who stuck “it” in the corner? How do you know that “he” stuck “it” in the corner? You’re sure that comfort care wasn’t provided? I don’t think you know what “kill” means. Not wasting resources trying to save a baby that’s not going to live is a decision should be left to parents and doctors - not dumb-a$$es that live in Ohio. Should people ever be taken off life support? Should people be allowed to have do not resuscitate orders? Are people being killed those cases? No. Was Terri Shavo killed by her husband? No.
3. The event you’re talking about occurred before Walz signed any legislation changing “preserve life” to provide “care”. So, explain how the legislation Walz signed impacted the event?

Yes, a brokered convention, though hardly relied on historically. I’m not saying it’s illegal, just surreptitious, in the spirit of talking about “Democracy.” What your advocating for is a Republic.

Lol. Yes, nowhere in Europe is even bordering on socialism. I bet you think there’s no migrant/migrant assimilation problem there too. Good to be ignorant. It’s blissful after all.

It appears that, in addition to failing to understand what a political party is, you also don't understand what a republic is.
Trump 2024 tax pledges: - ~$4-5 trillion in extending the 2017 tax law - $1.7 trillion in ending tax on Social Security - $250 billion no tax - ~$500 billion lowering corporate tax rate to 15% - Now also no taxes on overtime work (tens of billions? hundreds of billions?)
