Hamas surrounds ALL of it's assets with civilians.

What the F have the people been doing in Gaza the last 20 years that Israel is able to cut off the water, electricity and other services whenever Israel wants? Do the people of Gaza not have their own generators and other electrical services aside what Israel provides them? Are they still living in the Middle Ages?
