). I guess one runner (they deleted their original comment) probably said something criticizing his training etc, and Jake and his army of glazers went full force (opposite of monk mode). I understand if someone said something that criticizes your family, faith, etc, but I'm probably sure they just said something about his training 😂 Of course that comment hit Jake as he's responded saying "just please don’t refollow me when I’m smashing PBs yeah" and "why have you suddenly put your account of private? Nothing to be scared of big boy." Nothing shows immaturity and insecurity than replying back like that, and of course everyone likes his comments. Then his absurd fans start rushing in to white knight and see who can get the most amount of likes and approval from Jake. Just a weird dynamic, with a lack of transparency and insecurity. Whenever someone remotely questions his training, he will point fingers and just make them look like they have said something psychotic (and let his fans attack them and coddle him), and he himself just comes up with excuses. All love for Jake and the channel, I truly hope he gets well. just my two cents
no, the guy in the comments said "have to unfollow now" which i think we can all agree is trolling behaviour. he didn't criticize training or anything like that.
Fair enough. Yeah one could consider it trolling. But again, the response from Jake and his fans are excessive, as always, and just shows their insecurity and immaturity. This is a "waah waah, he hurt my feelings, everyone please defend me as I crash out at him" moment for Jake. And his fans go "we will defend you from everything and anything, and nothing is your fault" which i find kind of hilarious. But going back to your point, for sure if that was the comment (a bit snarky for sure but nothing serious), he could've just ignored it like many others do.

Think you’ve got your sayings muddled up here champ.
why would they possibly comment something like that unless they wanted a reaction? it is trolling, and worse than that - they couldn't even back up their attempt with some banter and instead whined and deleted their comment. the internet is truly dying.
and yeah, i think anyone who comments either pro or anti comments on a stranger's strava is missing some crucial part of their brain but it is what it is.
Matt said they had scheduling issues in his latest pod and that he hopes they can work together again in the future. Then he spent the rest of the pod mugging him off and calling him jealous of his lifestyle as an international criminal.
Don't forget the extended whinging about how difficult it is to be an international criminal, what with the terror of having to change hotels in the middle of the night because it's not exactly 20°C in your room or the unendurable stress of having to figure out running routes (for those who didn't listen to the pod, I'm not exaggerating, he quite literally complained about these things)
fair. but the fact that their argument is pointing out a grammatical mistake rather than a specific point in my argument shows how weak their opinion/take is

They weren’t pointing out a grammatical mistake. They were pointing out that you used the wrong saying.
Seems like you all prove their point of having a weak argument by pointing out that they said “hit the nail on the head” wrong. Literally the most minor part of what they’re trying to convey ffs 🤦 redditors
