Exactly man it's so insane, every time I peek into this thread it's people spilling the most vile hatred about YouTubers they don't like and concocting fan fiction about their characters. Most of these guys are annoying sure but Like just stop watching these guys you don't like but I think most of you are so miserable in your own lives that you enjoy the hate watch. "I hope Felton gets what's coming to him" , I mean WTF

I am a little confused about the RTJ situation.

Going from 200k weeks to zero. All while claiming to not be injured, just taking a break / rest from running?

He has started running more now & posting on Strava. But is always making a joke in the descriptions and replies towards any comment on him possibly being injured.

I just don’t get it really. Why has he been so closed off about it, despite being really transparent over the last couple years.

I know most can just see through this, but don’t understand his logic.

That india chick from tram Makou is kinda weird but hot.

Ya I poke my head into here when I hear about some juicy story, but this thread is literally the only exposure I get to any of the characters mentioned here.

I think he’s just very defensive, he had these little dramatic strava quarrels when people suggested maybe take it easier, insisted that this method was right for him didn’t need to change etc etc, and now the injuries I guess could indicate maybe people had a point but I don’t think he could ever admit to needing to rethink training and maybe cut mileage at this point.

Anyone who runs a sub 2:55 marathon is now qualified to become a running coach. Taking advantage of well off hobby joggers is a tradition like no other.

It's so expensive because every text he sends you is ten pages long and every call with him is four hours.

Time for our weekly running channel check in to see how everyone's favourite experts, Sarah and Tom, have been training.

Sarah ran three times this week, starting the week with a 12 x 400m workout. The fastest rep was at 3:43/km pace, suggesting she massively overcooked it for her fitness, especially in the heat this week.

Not surprisingly, her next run was a slow 5k a couple of days later at 6 minute per k pace. This is unusual for Sarah because she never posts easy runs slower than 5:30/km on Strava, so she must have felt it later in the week.

She finished the week running Toms 6 x 3 minutes "VO2 max session", which looked anything but controlled, with interval paces ranging from 5:05/km to 5:48/km.

From the outside, it looks like our experts might have panicked about the rapid fitness drop over the last few months and tried to smash themselves to bits with overly ambitious intervals workouts, but I'm sure there's a master plan in there somewhere!

I've said it before but Yowana is slowly becoming the new Floberg. Slowly, slowly disappearing up his own ass before our very eyes.

He seems to be in a collab with Running Warehouse, he's now also working with BITR.

Long, self indulgent videos, running 12/14 hours a week or sub optimal training while his wife is left with the kids, underperforming on race day, and now stealing money from the running community.

Some of these guys are pulling the wool over your eyes and setting ya'll up for the long con.

RTJ, Yowana, MARM, Crown My Run, they all want your money. It's all they care about. Why people defend any of them is beyond me.

Did I miss MARM and Crown My Run murdering a baby live on youtube in the last 100 pages? Why are they on the naughty list now? (and don't say because they're sponsored by Invigorate, that's just basic youtube business nowadays)

Because they are shilling snake oil electrolyte powders. Even when he was running a winter half in horrific conditions Jody was trying to sell it. Runners don't need overpriced salt powder, especially in the UK

Honestly, I’m willing to give influencers the benefit of the doubt when it comes to them promoting electrolytes.

The myth that electrolytes are of any benefit whatsoever for runners racing the standard distances is so widespread I would not be surprised if they genuinely believe they do something.

Ita different from shilling those stupid recovery boots etc where anyone with a brain knows they do sweet fa.
