K. Harris debate performance will go down as one of the best in Presidential history.
In total Trump spoke close to 5min more than Harris, but most of it was a waste. Even if someone had given him the questions beforehand, I have no doubt this debate would gone exactly the same. He's feeble.

Exactly. Moderator was not unbiased. Pay attention. Highly likely Kamala was given the questions days or even weeks before the debate. I doubt the party would put her out there raw against their worst enemy, DJT. That's a huge advantage for her but she needs it or would look like Joe B did. I think it's funny that Trumpers are saying Harris was given the questions and responses in advance, because I think she missed a couple opportunities and could've done better. So, I guess it all speaks to how bad Trump looked.

I wish Harris had answered the first question about the economy today compared to 4 years ago instead of going right into a prepared introduction. There's a lot of positive economic news she could have highlighted to remind people that things are actually pretty good.
The another thing I wish she did, is when Muir mentioned Trump's tweet about going after donors and supports for Harris, I think she really could have emphasized how dangerous his statements are and that it's a real threat to all of our freedoms.

I disagree with your first point. I think her short prepared introduction was just right and targeted her desired voters. She is unknown compared to Trump and she was speaking to the undecided voters. And I think it was measured. if that portion about herself was too long it would have been like Trump's me, me, me.
I agree that emphasizing Trump's dangerousness is helpful. But that is a hard case to make with voters. They simply don't understand stuff like Autocratic regimes. Dictatorial policies. Disrupting and neutering our institutions and laws. That is for us political junkies. She was speaking to low information undecided voters and she did well to make Trump crazy so they could see who he is and the contrast.
