There's a difference in people wanting to pick lettuce and people wanting to traffic guns, drugs & children. Anyone with a brain should understand that.
ok so now m'aga is fine with millions of illegal immigrants streaming over the border to work on farms?
you gotta help me understand.
It's hard to understand you people.
Where was that said in gnarly’s post? You gotta help me understand.
I'm not serious about you being arrested for speech I'm poking fun at you because you call America fascist while Europe is literally arresting people for speech.
Didn’t the US literally just arrest Mahmoud Khalil for his speech?
Now you are really referring to a bigot in this punk Khalil, not surprising you support him. He’s a major league coward too. That dude ran from Syria instead of spouting off against them because he’d be doing hard labor right now or lose a limb if he did. He’s not welcome here and do you want to know why? Because MAGA says so.
Weird reports coming out of Israel about Hamas having regained its military strength and planning a new incursion into Israel. Timing is suspect coming as further ceasefire negotiations are flailing and Trump just bombed the Houthis and threatened Iran. Israel carried out airstrikes in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza. Lebanon and Syria have had border clashes. There is now talk between Israel and the US about relocating Gazans to Syria. UAE was mad at the US for having direct talks with Hamas and is trying to stop an Egyptian lead peace plan for Gaza because it gave too much influence to Hamas. Netanyahu fired the head of Shin Bet, which is seen in Israel as an attempt to cover up intelligence and military failures that lead to Oct 7 and allegations of corruption against government officials over Qatar negotiations. Some are predicting that this could escalate into a crisis akin to the Serbian revolt against a corrupt pro-Russian government. Starting a war is textbook Netanyahu for deflecting domestic issues.
Yemen: to keep the shipping lanes clear, not just to help israel
Syria: we were fighting the Islamic State
Libya: We wanted to rid the world of a very nasty terrorist tyrant
why in the world do you think all these wars were for Israel?
(I do know why - you are bats't crazy about the Jews. )
Anyway. As you know, Israel is a liberal democracy, the only one in the middle east so it is a natural ally. Furthermore, it has helped the US enormously in terms of intelligence about a region that hates the USA.
Obviously lots of trade between our two nations helps too.
There is no genocide. You have a better argument for apartheid though.
Not disagreeing with your overall note to newname.
Just found it jarring to read: "As you know, Israel is a liberal democracy, the only one in the middle east so it is a natural ally" and have an immediate reaction of "wish I still lived in that world."
But when your argument is that we "need illegal immigrants to work on our farms," naturally, the easy counter to that would be: not at the expense of propagating dangerous criminal activity like gang violence & drug trafficking. Where do we draw the line on "illegal" activity?
Not that the liberal politicians care about any of it; they're making millions and enjoy paying illegal immigrants to vote.
dude, the people making money are the farmers hiring illegal workers to run their businesses, and right wing politicians getting 'contributions' to look the other way in terms of law enforcement.
so come up with a solution. You seem to be saying 'keep out the criminals but let in the farmworkers.'
if that's not what you mean, let's hear your solution.
Obviously we need a very large guestworker program, but 'conservatives' have always been against that kind of thing. So we get this: 'just look the other way' sort of sitch.
I actually never said that.
Reducing illegal immigrant farm workers in exchange for slightly higher produce prices isn't necessarily a bad thing, or something that would affect people like myself very much financially. I believe you misunderstood my point, I would take higher produce prices and legal farm workers over felonious illegal criminal activity.
Perhaps a comprehensive immigration reform that includes a path to legal status for undocumented farmworkers might mitigate the negative impacts in regards to humanitarian, economic or family hardship concerns. An increase in mechanization could help with economic concerns.
I just don't see how encouraging immigrants to enter the system legally is such an evil concept. Neither did Obama. This whole lumping everyone into one side or the other, black and white, painting everyone with the same red or blue brush really needs to degenerate. I'm not sure which conservatives you are referring to but I obviously am not speaking for them.

Don’t minimize the fact that around HALF of all farmworkers are illegal and that number is 100% in some regions. Thats not slightly more expensive food if you deport them. There will be no food or much less food, far more expensive and thousands of bankrupt farms and banks. Millions of dead farm animals.
its a much bigger problem than you admit.
and then its repeated in construction and healthcare.

As Trump continues to tame inflation, deport illegal aliens, lower gas prices, lower interest rates, guide a stock market bull run and settles the war in Ukraine, his approval is going to absolutely skyrocket!
The libs will be beyond triggered and it will be glorious.
"The administration seems determined to squander and wreck the strong economy," Josh Bivens, chief economist at the Economic Policy Institute, wrote earlier this week. "Each of the individual policies they are pursuing—illegal layoffs of federal workers, mass deportations, constant threats and retractions of broad-based tariffs, and Medicaid spending cuts—would be bad for the economy. But each policy is also being pursued with maximum levels of chaos and incoordination, creating unprecedented levels of economic uncertainty. This uncertainty is itself a serious economic threat." "Absent a radical reversal of the current policy agenda, the U.S. will be a poorer country at the end of Trump's term than it should have been,"
Ex-Project 2025 chief Paul Dans says that, despite the Trump campaign's one-time efforts to distance itself from the Heritage Foundation's plans, Project 2025 really has come to pass.
"There really is almost no difference between Project 2025 and what Trump was planning all along and is now implementing."
"he just exaggerates, he doesn't lie" - dumb m'agas
"I have no idea what Project 2025 is,” Trump said Oct. 31 at a rally in Albuquerque, New Mexico, one of many times he disclaimed any knowledge of the plan. “I’ve never read it, and I never will.”
Trump saying "I've never read it, and I never will." in reference to project 2025 is almost certainly true. He refuses to read daily security briefings, looked at the letter from the King of England as if it were written in Japanese, and insiders say he does NO reading.
He is certainly on board with the Project 2025 agenda. Many who were instrumental in writing it are working in his admin and implementing it. But Trump is the media face, the distraction. Musk and the Project 2025 / Heritage Foundation are the ones actually running the government. Trump is happy to golf and repeat whatever they tell him now that he is assured of never going to jail for his crimes.
How is in our interests to fight wars for Israel (Yemen, Syria, Gaza -- well, gave them all the weapons), Libya, Iraq, and they hope Iran; all laid out by Jewish neocons in A Clean Break; use US military for the benefit of Israel)? Or to give Israel billions upon billions of $ every year? Ask the survivors of the USS Liberty what they think of Israel and their power over our government. WHy do you defend genocide and apartheid?

The Houthis have literally said the naval blockade is because aid is not being let into Gaza. Instead of holding Israel to the terms of the ceasefire we are putting American soldiers in danger. Do you want US soldiers to die for Israel?
Interesting. The 2021 number was really high, but that was consistent with 81 million votes Biden received in the 2020 election. The 2025 number is close to normal. The GOP’s numbers have been in the mid twenties all the times, I assume?
This is a great day. That rat, Hunter Biden, is in South Africa claiming to be broke while vacationing in a thousand a night condo on the beach. He has 18 SS agents with him. Can you imagine how much that is costing the taxpayer??? Well Laura Loomer outed him to Trump and Don canceled the SS agents for both him and Ashley (who had 13 agents on her detail). Yes, Yes, and Yes.

Labor is about 2-4% the cost of food.So even if it doubles it's neglibiel.
There's nothing bigoted about not wanting children to be sexually mutilated.
People with gender dysphoria who mutilate their bodies to alleviate psychological problems are literally voluntarily creating their own physical problems to try to solve a psychological problem.
I know plenty of gay people who aren't happy with being lumped into this absurd "LGBTQ" association. There's nothing bigoted about thinking running around in a dress with a beard and lipstick on is ridiculous. It's not an identity it's a fetish.
Not wanting to fund research for gender affirming care because you don’t approve of people who are trans = you’re a bigot.
Assuming everyone that is trans has gender dysmorphia = you’re a bigot.
Thinking people are absurd because they identify as LGBTQ = you’re a bigot.
Dismissing someone’s lifestyle because they’re LGBTQ = you’re a bigot.
Having LGBTQ friends (yeah right, nobody would willingly be friends with you) doesn’t mean you’re not a bigot.
Would you like tax payer funded research into conversion therapy?
If you don't have gender dysphoria and you're dressing up in women's clothes you are just practicing a fetish. If you don't have gender dysphoria and you are surgically altering your body you are mentally ill.
I can get behind LGBT. The other 400 letters and symbols are just people begging for attention.
I didn't say having gay and lesbians friends absolved me of bigotry I said they don't agree with your trans zealotry and NONE of them support your sick obsession with mutilating children.
