"On May 22, 2023, the Minnesota state legislature passed an omnibus bill—signed into law the next day by Walz—that repealed all six subdivisions added by the 2015 Born Alive Infants Protection Act as well as two of the three subdivisions established in the original 1976 statute. The bill left intact the first subdivision—which read “All reasonable measures consistent with good medical practice, including the compilation of appropriate medical records, shall be taken to preserve the life and health of the child”—but changed its language requiring medical personnel to “preserve the life and health of the born alive infant” to instead require medical personnel to “care for the infant who is born alive.” The bill also repealed many of Minnesota’s abortion reporting requirements, including information about born-alive infants."
There's a reason the Democrats deleted "preserve the life and health" and replaced it with "care for".

this is if a baby is born with very severe defects and cannot survive on its own.
at that point the doctor and parents have a talk about putting a do not rescuscitate order on the baby.
Weird. That is not how Trump explains it.
This is Trump explaining his position on abortion last night:
FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Well, the reason I'm doing that vote is because the plan is, as you know, the vote is, they have abortion in the ninth month. They even have, and you can look at the governor of West Virginia, the previous governor of West Virginia, not the current governor, who's doing an excellent job, but the governor before. He said the baby will be born and we will decide what to do with the baby. In other words, we'll execute the baby.
FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: And that's why I did that, because that predominates. Because they're radical. The Democrats are radical in that. And her vice presidential pick, which I think was a horrible pick, by the way for our country, because he is really out of it. But her vice presidential pick says abortion in the ninth month is absolutely fine. He also says execution after birth, it's execution, no longer abortion, because the baby is born, is okay. And that's not okay with me. Hence the vote. But what I did is something for 52 years they've been trying to get Roe v. Wade into the states.
FORMER PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: And through the genius and heart and strength of six supreme court justices we were able to do that. Now, I believe in the exceptions for rape, incest and life of the mother. I believe strongly in it. Ronald Reagan did also. 85% of Republicans do. Exceptions. Very important. But we were able to get it. And now states are voting on it. And for the first time you're going to see -- look, this is an issue that's torn our country apart for 52 years. Every legal scholar, every Democrat, every Republican, liberal, conservative, they all wanted this issue to be brought back to the states where the people could vote. And that's what happened, happened. Now, Ohio, the vote was somewhat liberal. Kansas the vote was somewhat liberal. Much more liberal than people would have thought. But each individual state is voting. It's the vote of the people now. It's not tied up in the federal government. I did a great service in doing it. It took courage to do it. And the supreme court had great courage in doing it. And I give tremendous credit to those six justices.
Are your soothing yourself with that nonsense? Do you need some hot cocoa and a blanket?
This debate didn't even matter. Harris was going to win the election no matter how she did. What has happened as a result of the debate though is that Trump has lost even more of his FAKE net worth due to the continued tanking of Truth Social, and we are just that much closer to his complete and utter ruin.
Lot of Americans were unfamiliar with Harris at all before the debate, and without question, most of those who saw that debate last night who weren't already decided will vote for Harris. As I said, Harris was already going to win the election. Now, she will get MORE votes...might not turn into more EC votes, but her popular vote for sure went up after that debate. She is Presidential. She is positive. She invited those on the fence to join her...and a lot of them will. Trump wasn't inviting at all to anyone who hadn't made up their mind...and he so needed to be.
13 Keys say Harris will win...and she will. It's over.
You do not live in reality.
Your own state is +10 Trump you imbecile.
Of course Harris was going to do well in an ABC debate where the moderators actively participated on her side.
CNN's own poll showed on the economy (the number one issue with voters) Trump won the debate.
The 13 keys guy is a moron.
You are a fool. My state is a red state, so it matters not. How is my state at all an example for you to bring up? Very weird. Might as well bring up Arkansas and Alabama too. Yeah, RED states that aren't likely to vote for Harris. That says NOTHING at all about how Harris will fare in the general election.
I see your excuses for Trump's poor performance. Predictable. Was the sun in his eyes too?
You are grasping at straws if you think one metric that Trump did better in polling on is going to get him the victory. Usually the economy is top of mind, but not this time. Republicans made a criminal autocrat their top pick, one who greatly threatens our Republic...THAT tops the economy this time. Also, Trump and the GOP made abortion THE top issue, and it's an albatross for them.
The 13 Keys guy created a model that accurately picks the winner. It's unbiased. It is based on facts and historical precedent. He's definitely not a moron. He picked Trump to win in 2016. Was he a moron then?

I would never hire a convicted felon or rapist. I would hire Trump because he is neither of those.
I would hire Trump too, but only to clean the crap off the bottom of my shoes - after that debate it's obvious he barely has enough brain left for even that

You know you're going down when all you have is desperate lies.
At the time, a spokesperson for Northam told Vox the “governor had ‘absolutely not’ been referring to the euthanasia of infants born after a failed abortion” and that he was talking about a “tragic and extremely rare case in which a woman with a nonviable pregnancy or severe fetal abnormalities went into labor.”
