Imagine my surprise when this came on the radio!

Since we were marvelling over Kelly Joe Phelps recently, I returned to a couple of songs that just have me in disbelief at the guitar skills in a few of this guys repetoire.
But not only technical fluency and proficiency, his arrangements are so interpretive and imaginative, and well, untethered (in a good way).
How rare that an astounding technician can not become a slave to the craft, but instead, use it in the expressive wanderings of their song.
I almost hate to draw attention away from the entirety of these superb arrangements, but the guitar runs at the end of each song leave little doubt of this guitarist's prominence.

This song reminds me of a strip club in the 90s. In a good way. The other one that reminds of strip clubs is the Sandstorm song by Derude, or maybe its Derude.
Richt now as I sit on the pot, I am listening to me rip some farts while I feed my toilet it's dinner.
