Believe it or not, there are many college coaches that really enjoy coaching that don’t care much about salary or ego. We do it because we love the sport and the challenge. I started out making $5K a year and was loving life coaching. Do not care what anyone thinks of my ability. I enjoy helping my athletes reach new levels of success. Thats my “Pay” and motivation. I make enough to live a good life (Under $40K) and could care less about ego’s.
So you’re saying you don’t have kids or a family…. Or you just have a sugar mama/sugar daddy.
It’s easy to say it’s not able the money when you sound Nobel. But when you have a family you sound like a complete jerk. Is about the money? Yea. But it’s more about the justification of spending so much time on something to then have to turn around and spend time somewhere else just to make up that money. Cause all of that is time neglecting your family.
