I was in Las Vegas this weekend and a female street performer dressed in bondage slapped my butt with a crop whip. The incident was unprovoked and she actually hit me pretty hard. Am I a victim and/or should I try to find this woman and press charges??

And to answer the last part of your response, yes, if a man is slapped and feels violated by the act, he should pursue the appropriate legal action. That being said, the double standard has been against women for the entirety of human history, so it amazes me that men pitch a huge fit that there might be a double standard in their favor now.
All these types of responses ignore the long (and still continuing) history of sexual violence perpetrated against women by men. The reverse is orders of magnitude less common. Men with behavior blow it off as many in this thread have done and as the dude did. He didn't apologize sincerely, showing that either he didn't view his act as that big of a deal or he was fearful of the consequences if he admitted to intentionally smacking her a$$. Men need to stop being pigs. Period. And if it takes legal prosecution to make it happen then so be it.

And touch, even from friends can be uncomfortable. As a woman, one of the things I hate the most is when men touch the small of my back (men who are not my partner). It gives me the creeps. Whenever male friends ask why I feel that way I ask if they would touch their male friends that way. If you need to touch someone- touch their shoulder or arm.

Your last observation is quite true. But I doubt that the best way to improve human behaviour is to criminalise whatever we don't like.

And you're illiterate. I'm a middle aged married guy with a daughter and a respect for women. If a man smacked my wife or daughter in the a$$, especially on television and while they were working, I would damn sure want him prosecuted and embarrassed on social media. There is all kinds of inappropriate behavior that is not sexual violence. Some of it is sexual in nature (like catcalls), other not (like profanity in the workplace).

(b) A person commits the offense of sexual battery when he or she intentionally makes physical contact with the intimate parts of the body of another person without the consent of that person.
Is it ARGUABLE that he INTENTIONALLY made PHYSICAL CONTACT with the BUTTOCKS of another person without the CONSENT OF THAT PERSON? Absolutely, the answer is yes. Based on the video, it appears that he intentionally made physical contact with the woman. Was he meaning to hit her butt? There's no way to know for sure, but the publicly available evidence certainly makes it look that way, so it's at least an arrestable offense.
I don't know what any of you want. If a football coach is slapping your ass or your kids ass or soccer players are touching each other's butts ... it's up to you to determine if you/your kid want to consent to that or not. The toucher does not get to decide what's appropriate.
That's what's great about America. You can DECIDE if YOU want to be touched in the butt or not. No one has the right to decide that it's okay to just touch you when you don't want to be touched. You can decide if you want to press charges against someone who does it without your consent. If you don't consent to being hit in the butt in Georgia, then YES the person committed the offense, and yes they can be charged.
There's no social norms argument here. The woman is a reporter. She isn't a football player who has ALSO acquiesced to everyone hitting her on the butt after a big play as a form of celebration. And even if she was, that's up to HER to decide to acquiesce and accept getting hit in the butt by her teammates.
I don't know any runners that are just slapping peoples butts on the sideline. I don't know any runners who are slapping other random runner's butts.

Physical power differential—men have greater physical strength than women (though not strength in terms of endurance)—generally.
