I realize you're being sarcastic, but that you're also dumb enough not to realize you're detracting from your own accusation of doping. Cram probably could have ran considerably faster that night, he has said so himself and that he regrets not going harder. That night was billed more as the Coe vs Cram rematch from LA, rather than a WR attempt, and Cram was probably just delighted to have beaten Coe. You can see that he looks back before the finishing line and when he sees that Coe is a long way back he slows down.
Oh, and btw, check out his post race interview in which he's clearly still breathing hard from the race.
