After 5 days they finally took down the wrong Marathon time of 3:29 in a 24.6 mile "Marathon".

That was hard.

I never understand why people need to brag with things they have not done.

The outers failed, bigly. The important thing is to get the RACE results for 100% of the runners revised. They are all cheaters. You boys only focused on one of them. Get your act together and get that RACE and all of those runners to correct their results. ... They likely have no clue they cheated.

Please stop distracting Tracie Phan from producing a trans con record. She already had to postpone the start for almost two weeks because of this little "marathongate".

Let's hope that Sandra Vi can produce 55 mile running days starting on September 9th.

I thought the run was postponed so that Sandra could run behind Mimi Anderson so she knows what mileage she has to do to get the record and not from us asking questions.

From checking out Sandra's running background, speaking with Trasie, and speaking with Sandra's coach, I now think this is a legitimate transcon attempt and will be honest, especially seeing as how there will be GPS watch data uploaded to Strava like for Sandra's other runs. I am satisfied with the change to the marathon PB claim.

From what I gather, it seems like the vast majority of the mistrust of Sandra from other people here come not because of Sandra herself but rather from the way they have answered some questions and particularly from unsolicited abusive messages people said were sent by Shellie Corralejo after asking Sandra questions.

Now that we've been promised that there will be GPS watch data on Strava, I think the main sticking point for people mistrusting Sandra is because of what Shellie Corralejo has/is doing that is undermining the legitimacy of what is otherwise an honest transcon attempt. I'm currently in the process of reaching out to Shellie / getting Trasie to ask her questions to check on this. Trasie has already revealed that Shellie is not a partner/employee of her's. Shellie Corralejo is actually the daughter of Sandra Vi, which could go some ways to explaining the types of messages people have claimed to have received from her.

Yeah it's kind of funny how nervous people get when some honest questions get asked on social media. They are unable to respond to them in a normal way.

Trasie Phan has now attracted the letsrun crowd to watch Sandra run. This will be different than the 350 mile run in California. People are watching the GPS every step. Data will get analyzed. Any driving in a car by Sandra will get reported.

But at the end Sandra's feet will decide if she can run that far, not Trasie's "marketing" skills.

I think I can explain what is going on here. I believe that Trasie's original plan was to upload the GPS watch data just like what was done with Pete K.'s transcon run but didn't say it clearly enough to people asking questions.

The main problem is that I don't believe any of us have actually been talking with Sandra Vi but rather every time you think you've been talking with Sandra, you have actually been communicating with her daughter Shellie Corralejo. Why do I think this? It's because the email address listed on Sandra Vi's Facebook page is for one "nichellecorralejo" and Nichelle Corralejo is also what Shellie Corralejo calls herself on her Facebook page.

I believe if we were to actually talk with the real Sandra Vi, we would get some pretty different answers than what her daughter Shellie has been saying in her place. Sandra might not even know the questions that are being asked of her because Shellie is the one controlling her communications. And I don't think Shellie is a runner.

It doesn't matter anymore. The reputation is already damaged before the real run has started.

There won't be a world record by Sandra Vi anyway.

I bet $10.000 that she will not average even 45 miles per day.

She will go out big, gets injured and than drops out before the Nevada border is reached.

I have told Trasie and Sandra's coach Dave about Shellie having control over Sandra's communications and for them check on it and take control over the Facebook page to prevent Shellie from sending more messages to people. Trasie knows that Shellie is Sandra's daughter but I'm not sure if she knows Shellie is the one answering all the questions for Sandra and then using her own social media accounts to send other messages to those people. And Dave the coach is not aware that Sandra has a daughter Shellie. So everything makes sense now and I'm trying to diffuse the situation.
