I appreciate the vote of confidence. Typically there is no problem w me racing hard.. last year the winner was like in the 16:5x range so I will just go out with the lead and see what happens
What has been making me feel more confident is i am def leaning out. Down to same weight as when I ran the half but much much leaner. Lifting and biking did me good I think. And switching to only fruit before lunch.

Yesterday was too much I think, yesterday I was starting to see stars after doing anytime of exercise by the end of the day. Lol
Smoove recommended to me Salt Stick Fastchews, and I like them. I also use Tailwind Nutrition Endurance Fuel powder. I mix it with spring water (tastes really good with Fiji). It really does work, and it does not bother my stomach. I have used Berry flavor and Lemon flavor, and both are good (bought from Running Warehouse).
Had another solid run today...got nice, cloudy weather, and cruised for 12.5 miles...
