(1) Dopers routinely take substances that cause cancer. Which rock did you just crawl out from?

(2) Cattle herders aren't using it to make cows "fatter." They use it to make cows have more meat, which is muscle. Which rock did you just crawl out from?

(3) She would have gone for the record after doping because she thought she wouldn't get caught (kind of like the thinking of every other doper). It was just trace amounts so she almost did get it flushed out of her system but she cut it too close. Which rock did you just crawl out from?

Steroids can cause cancer, why do athletes take that? Many PED's have undesirable side-effects. Do you not think there is a point where athletes determine the benefit outweighs the risk? Rupp continues to take Calcitonin (sp?) even after Pete Julian hit up the NOP crew telling them it has been linked to cancer.

Regarding "Why would she take it if she knows she could get tested?":

Why do any athletes ever test positive at major events? Don't they know they're gonna get tested? Those idiots! Is it not possible they are banking on a masking agent or the substance clearing their system?

I do have some questions of my own.. Are there any documented cases of an athlete getting busted for zeranol? An endurance athlete? I agree it doesn't seem like the ideal dope for a distance runner.

Someone earlier asked if it is possible zeranol would be taken in order to balance out hormone levels or somehow mask other anabolic agents. Is that viable?

You're accusing someone of something neither herself or her coach had knowledge of. Once again if you read the latest article or knew any history behind Ajee' Wilson or her coach you would know her coach is Jamaican and the day before that Millrose race they ate out at a Jamaican restaurant where she had oxtail meat and the day of the race she ate the left over meat for lunch from the night before. She had been eating more meat then usual because her doctor stressed her iron level was too low. Yes it was trace amounts, because she ate the meet the day of the race an the night before. Let me find out you know every meal she she eats everyday. Mayb it's small trace amounts bcus she didn't consume infected meat previously before that. But I surely didn't crawl from under the same rock as you, i think you should get your brain checked out you must've been dropped on your head when you were a baby. Well it didn't. But it happened to an athlete from China read that article too someone posted on here. Just like people are saying athletes try an use things as excuses so do people who are responding to these articles and have so much negativity to say about these athletes. They're tryna find any excuse to keep these athletes down, it's either because they're haters and don't like the athlete, they could be racist, because racism still exists throughout the world and if you say it doesn't you're a prime example of racist. And then there's those people who think it's "too good to be true" those people don't care about facts they think they're right about everything so they believe what they want.

This goes to show how ridiculous WADA's stance of being 100% responsible for what's ingested. Who here even knew that substance existed before she got popped for having it in a few parts per billion in her system? This whole thing is a farce.

It is not necessary that intent or negligence be established. The positive test is all that matters. Articles 10.5.1 and 10.5.2 establish reduced sanctions in the cases of No Fault/Negligence (no sanction) and No Significant Fault/Negligence (sanction reduced by 1/2). An anabolic agent is serious stuff even though it can be argued that Agee's substance provided questionable benefit. The sanction normally would be 4 years. The standard for "No Fault" applies in very exceptional circumstances,such as when an athlete was sabotaged. Otherwise in cases of contamination, even when the contamination can be proven the sanction would be 1/2 of the original (in this case, 2 years).

If Agee were in a court of law, it appears that she would be found not guilty due to preponderance of evidence in her favor. However USADA is NOT a court of law. The WADA code is strict and specific. She was not sabotaged.

I believe her defense about the tainted beef. Everything makes sense to me although others can disagree. What does NOT make sense to me is the "slap on the wrist" given to her when in other cases an athlete was given the harshest penalty possible (1/2 the sanction length) even though they proved contamination without knowledge. I am happy for her lack of suspension as I think the concept of strict liability shouldn't apply in cases of proven contamination. However, USADA is definitely playing favorites here. USADA works with USATF. There's no doubt that Agee's star status was at play in this situation.

That's right. She ate some Jamaican meat and therefore we all are supposed to take her word for it that she is guessing it was contaminated. Note that she actually has absolutely no idea if the meat were contaminated because she never had it tested it's just a hollow excuse. It would maybe be somewhat plausible had she gone back to the restaurant and paid for an independent lab to test the meat there but, no, that never happened. It's just a "I ate some meat from an ethnic restaurant and my totally unsupported excuse is that the meat was contaminated."

I also agree with the above posters that she is in a very tough spot having to race against guys pumped up full of their own testosterone but that doesn't excuse her from going to the dark side.

I agree. Not only USADA plays favorites, but especially WADA plays favorites.
