Couple takes:
- I absolutely love going to a baseball game with my kids. Get a couple snacks, smuggle in a few more of their favorite treats, get a beer for me, and just sit and chill and joke around. Walk around the stadium. Also love going with a friend, get MULTIPLE beers, shuck and jive with them, have in-person debates on topics that normally I just comment on in threads on letsrun (what sport takes the most talent to be world class in, etc). And oh yes, there is baseball going on too, and that's sort of fun too.
- I literally can't watch baseball on TV, even though I played it all growing up and through high school. However, I love me some sportscenter baseball highlights. For some reason at night, I can watch a half hour straight of baseball highlights and not get bored. Love ending the day with that.
- Baseball is awesome in person but sucks on TV. Football is awesome on TV and kinda sucks in person. I mean it's great going to a football game and all, but the tailgating and all that is better than the game itself. Like I could tailgate and then go home, or to sportsbar, for the game itself and be just as happy, if not moreso. I mean is there anything better than wings and beer and football on TV??
