Your post is missing key elements,, first one is you took walkers heaviest weight that he ever weighed in football and tried to say that he was "competing" at that exact weight in track and field in 1981 at georgia where he was only 19 years old..
NOt only does that make me lmao.. but you tried to distort things and make it seem like he was a full 225lbs at georgia when he ran 10.23 around 1981..
The heaviest anywhere that he was listed in the nfl was 225lbs. with some sites even listing him at only 220 lbs..
Therefore to say that he was at his highest weight at the age of 19 when he ran 10.23 after the months and months and months of competing to train for the 100 which we all know makes a person lose weight... just makes me laugh even harder..
Also not to mention the fact that he isnt 6'0 hes an inch taller.. and no where in your statements did you even list a 400 meter dash time... and he was never a professional 400 meter dash runner.. which makes even a bigger difference because of a number of other factors..
For instance if i were to only train for the 100 and 200, then my workouts would consist of 35 yard dashes,, strength shoes.. heavy powerlifting, and 100s,, nowhere in my workouts would i even go above a 200 meter dash to train. Because why should i? Im training for speed if im doing that..
Thus making me stay at a higher bodyweight than 210, but i still would be only 215 or so.. not 225..... thats the difference..
Now training for the 400 involves running 200 repeats and other stuff which makes a person lose weight.. Theres no way that i could start the year at my heaviest weight of 230lbs and then continue to do my extremely hard 4 by 200 workouts and expect myself to stay at 230lbs...
I started the year at 225 to 230 and went to 210lbs just so i could compete at the 400. The natural progression of the workouts allowed me to lose weight. .. and now im running out of warm weather days and i dont even compete year round.. I do this for fun training myself in the summer like 5 months out of the year... the rest of the year im working out and powerlifting.. which is 7 months.. Therefore for the first time since 1999 im training year round for track and watch me run 48.9 next summer in october.. im going to say october 21st will be the day that i run 48.93 and thats just to start.. And on a side note im going to go pose more in the mirror and try to figure out why my muscle fibers are so dense all naturally , then im going to go eat more soy to get even stronger, then im going to go do like 3 track workouts later, with a dash of dumbell curls on the side, should be fun..
