This is a great thread. But while I want to believe, I suppose that I too am a skeptic. I just find it very hard to believe that someone who has run 3 miles in 3 years, is supposedly totally out of shape, could, with no prep, suddenly do 15 miles a day for a week, while drinking 15 beers a day (granted, the beer doesn't seem to effect him too much). But if he is doing a lot of 10 min miles and stopping all the times between miles, then I suppose it is possible. If it is all true, then I guess these guys are just tougher than I imagined.

fast guy and i just finished a 9 mile run. the official count for fast guy is 4 miles left, and maybe about 20 beers left. to keep moral high, we're not gonna count. fast guy is just gonna drink till they're gone!!!! stay tuned for the exciting conclusion to fast guys 100/100/100. fat guy status is unknown but he is presumably letting down many of his new letsrun fans

1 keg = 15.5 gallons = 1984 oz

1984 oz / 12 oz = 165.33 beers

1 week = 24 hours * 7 days = 168 hours.

its doable. i wish i planned on 100 hours from the start so Tuesday wouldnt have been so weak (22 miles, 20 beers).

im at 84 beers right now and in a spot of bother so that plans not going to happen. but youre more than welcome to try
