The reason it's not homophobic is because I'm not afraid of it, as the term implies. Your statement that I think it's "icky" is a straw man, but you seem so desperate to pin it on me. I may disagree with you, but that doesn't make me dumb or naive, like you are implying by telling me I hold this childish view of something "unnatural". No, I actually just think it's wrong. You may disagree, but the fact that you think you hold a moral high ground doesn't make you right.
It's not a prejudice opinion either. I don't think it's right, but I'm not judging anyone for it either. I leave that up to the Lord, but for now I am as tolerant as I need to be. Now go set up your straw men somewhere else and stop hijacking people's threads.
It's entirely possible that it's something other than you having an aversion to homosexuality because it's icky, but I haven't heard an explanation in this thread. You've just said it's wrong with no more detail than that. What is wrong about it? You've conceded it's not like rape or murder where someone else is harmed. At least if you said, "The Bible tells me so" I could understand where you're coming from. I might disagree that an ancient book should have any relevance, but that is a different argument. You haven't said anything other than I know it's wrong, I think it's wrong. So someone like me, who is trying to understand where you're coming from, is left to my best guess. Which would be - it's icky, because I agree, it seems kind of icky.
If I've guessed wrong, please correct me. I am a reasonable person. I can at least acknowledge other points of view if they are rational. For example, I'm pro-choice but I can see where a pro-life person is coming from. If they truly believe a ball of cells is a person then OK, that's why you think early abortions are bad. It's a consistent position. I disagree about the ball of cells, but I see where they're coming from.
What I don't understand is inconsistent or irrational positions - like abortion is murder...but it's OK if the woman was raped. WTF? I thought abortion was murder, how does a previous rape justify a subsequent murder? Be consistent. Rape is horrible, but murder is even worse.
By the way, I'm not attributing any of this abortion tangent to you, just trying to show that I can reasonably disagree if you explain yourself. So go ahead if you wish, otherwise I (and people like me) are left to make our best guesses as to why you think how you do.
