Cool...
That means ACU will put three in before Peck and there #4 and #5 are just 30 seconds back...ACU goes 1, 3, 4 and then say 25 and 30...63 points...ACU wins....And GVSU is STILL no better than 4th.

Nice claim.
Remember two weeks ago when ACU got beat my Missouri Southern....hahaha....I dont think GVSU, Adams, or Western, even without their #1 would have gotten beat by them.
Another little tid bit about Peck/GVSU at Regionals. In 2004, Peck's redshirt freshman year, he won his 1st Regional championship at SIUE in 32:01, Ryan Cole of GVSU was 2nd in 32:07. Both went on to place 19,21 respectively at Nationals.
Same course this year at SIUE. Nate Peck wins in 31:05 and also, Gale, Young, Hammer, Polk, and Fall all of GVSU under 31:55.
Im just saying......
Remember when Missouri beat ACU.......................................WITHOUT NICODEMUS!! (He's back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Go ACU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i dont see why GVSU winning is that unbeleivable. ASC, WSC and ACU are NOT on different levels. ASC is way down this year compared to years past. They have a strong 2 in braun and mwei, but after that they have and inexperienced and inconsistant 3-7. WSC is tough this year, and adding hogarth to their champion regional squad only makes them tougher. if they put most of their 3-5 in front of GVSU's pack they obviously take the title. as for ACU... their pack also doesnt look as impressive as it did last year. they had a 1:10 1-4 split at regionals, whereas the year before they had a 45 sec 1-5 and a 5 sec 1-4 split. They aren't the super-kenyan express like they were last year. as for no other great lakes team in the top 10... i think that the 5-13 teams are all very closely matched and that really they could be in any order depending on the day. i'm sure USI could crack the top 10, depending on Siebrek and alvarez. same as wayne, if saleh is top 20 material, they had a 50 sec pack at regionals, so im sure they'd crack the top 10 as well. should be fun to see.
Well, it's not unbelievable in the Spiderman really can shoot webs out of his arms sort of way...But you would have to suspend disbelief somewhat---They just do not have the horses to run up front with WSC, ACU and ASC...Now, IF one of those teams runs an off race CAN GVSU get into the top three...okay, yes...If all three run poorly and GVSU runs well CAN they win...I guess so, but I don't believe in Spiderman either.
ARE YOU SERIOUS? As others have said.. their regionals were run without NICO.....
thats the thing... ASC, WSC and ASC dont have \"huge\" guns up front. peck can run with any of those 3 teams top guys (except nico). yes GVSU doesnt have the best matchups in the 2 and 3 spots... but i think GVSU can put their 2-6 in front of ASC\'s 3-5 and WSC 4&5 (western\'s 3 i think will be in the GVSU pack somewhere). anyways, we\'ll find out in a few days.
Okay the guy is th conference champion for the LONE STAR CONFERENCE. And even worse he races in the SOUTH CENTRAL REGION. If he couldn't win there without Nicodemus then the guy is for sure no contender for much of anything. It would be more impressive if he had to run the GLIAC RMAC or out west where there is more going on than an ACU tempo with a kick. ACU is a joke. with their top runner they maybe have a shot. Without him they lose to Missouri Southern. WSC has only had Hogarth suited up for one race and they are #1 in the country. ASC has had problems with their team this year and they are #2. Sounds like a lack of depth to me and that means when the wildcats finally decide to run with the big boys instead of beating up on Ft. Hays the world will see that they aren't the team that everone wants them to be. Keep in mind only 3 Championships have been won outside of the state of Colorado SINCE 1992(men and women) Number 4 won't happen in 2k7 people!!![/quote]
Hell ya Colorodo All they way, this guy is a bad ass
Honestly you are in need an MRI for brain damage bro. I will give you the benefit of the doubt. Peck makes the top 10 this year. GVSU for as good as they are this year WON'T crack the top 3. If you don't think that Donian Dahlberg and Clark or Braun Medigovich and Mwei aren't big guns then you are sadly mistaken. I will admit this is a more even year for DII and probably the best GVSU team ever but it still is just shy. The team that wins nationals will be the team that has their top 7 closest to a top 30 finish. There is no way that GVSU will do that. Hel this year ACU ASC and WSC are going to struggle to do it. This year the title will be decided by less than 30 pts between 1-3.
WSC
ASC
ACU
Big Gap
GVSU
Chico
Mines
Go Colorado

Please!!!!!!!!! What do you mean Gasore will drop out as usual?????? Did you not see his INDIVIDUAL CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP and his INDIVIDUAL REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, not to mention his REGIONAL MALE ATHLETE OF THE YEAR AWARD>>>>>>.doesn't sound like he's been dropping out to me.
GO ACU MEN AND WOMEN!!!
Article on Serge Gasore at ACU:
http://media.www.acuoptimist.com/media/storage/paper891/news/2007/11/14/Focus/Living.To.Run.Again-3100599.shtmlPeck has been 19th, 16th, and 14th. That record speaks for itself.
bro... im saying peck can run with those 5 you just named... look at my post. peck runs with each of their front men, but if the GVSU pack in front of adams 3-5 and westerns 4&5... it'll be close... i think its ACU, WSC, ASC and GVSU as the big 4, then a big gap.
GVSU pack with WSC's 3???
Haha thats funny..
WSC's top 3...
Dahlberg (2nd at RMAC)
Donnan (3rd at regionals)
Clark (3rd at regionals)
All 3 of these guys will be running with Peck on Sunday... Western's 4 & 5 will be with the rest of the GVSU pack thus resulting in an easy win for WSC over GVSU.
Hogarth as well.
Gale (3rd at Regionals, 4th at conference)
Young(4th at Regionals, 2nd at conference)
Polk (7th at Regionals, 5th at conference)
who gives a shit....same thing
Just because the run in Colorado doesnt make them any better.
yall have still forget that daniel kanyaruhuru is going to win.....he is on fire
Bueno.
Wow, after reading that Serge Gasore article it's pretty hard not to appreciate what Abilene does. A lot of people on this board seem to hate on abilene for "buying a team." I've got a lot of respect for their coach for providing opportunities for people like Serge and a lot of respect for Serge for what he had to overcome. Considering my team doesn't have any individual favorites, I think Im rooting for this guy to take the individual title.
