No, people are sick and tired of you b!tching about Trump endlessly and you’re butt hurt about being called out about it.
And also some dope from New Zealand, bringing up the first amendment and showing that he knew nothing about it.
People are sick and tired of people like you praising every stupid thing donny does to own the libs. What's the plan in Venezuela now? Seems like their government is in place so will you support more bombing?

I’m not worked up about Venezuela one way or the other. Why is it so important to you?
Answer, you have TDS and this is another Trump action for you to b!tch about. Next week you’ll be b!tching about something else.
Get used to it. I see this on Instagram whenever some TDS addled type inserts Trump into a thread that has nothing to do with him. The person always gets flamed.
The laws Congress passes apply to American citizens. Hence it does not entitle the government to restrict beyond what the law permits what can be publicly expressed by American citizens or those in the US. Free speech is not the preserve of governments but individuals; it is ensured by governments through its laws. That's what the First Amendment does. It grants rights. They are exercised here.
The 1A does not apply to private individuals or corporations.
Maybe you have something like that in NZ, but I assure you that you are out of your depth concerning American constitutional law.
If you tried such an argumentnin the U.S., you would be laughed out of court.
You don't understand what free speech is. When you say the First Amendment applies to government that means it prevents governments (federal or state) from restricting speech as exercised by corporations or individuals. It limits the power of the state. It thus ensures freedom of speech to you and me when we are in the US. That is why individuals say they are exercising their First Amendment Rights.
What you fail to understand is that the Amendment constraining the power of the government and states to abridge free speech allows free speech. It effectively says the government can't stop you expressing your views.
But the issue here isn't simply the First Amendment (which applies because this is an American site), it is the basic principle of what free speech means anywhere that term is used. It means views can be expressed that are unpopular and may offend or are ill-informed or even ignorant. The only restriction is incitement to a crime. This site has included as amongst its restrictions the expression of unequivocally racist views or personal attacks on other posters (which it does not apply consistently).
Well then, what the hell are we arguing about?
I agree that this site can make its own speech rules - and not enforce them if they wush.
The First Amendment will apply in the US to any speech that is exercised publicly, as this site does. It is not a private club. If it breaches the First Amendment it would be open to challenge in the courts. But because this place is largely irrelevant no one would bother.
Congress disagrees with you. It found Jan 6 was an insurrection and he incited it.
Congress can't indict unless it is contempt of Congress or impeachment of a federal officer.
Remember, I am qualified to teach this stuff.
You are not.
I didn't say Congress can indict but it can arrive at a finding of fact that an insurrection occurred and that he incited it. To face criminal consequences he would needed to have faced criminal charges. That was Garland's failure.

If the US can take over Venezuela because it feels like it then it can do that to any other country. That is utterly lawless. It is what dictators do.
Now that Trump has acted so unilaterally and so illegally, possibly we can all stop pretending that any of the other military actions by the pentagon or color revolutions / assassinations by the CIA, MI6, Mossad were in anyway justified and just accept that America is the modern day version of the Roman Empire, if that empire were controlled by zionists. Americans live in an empire. And the empire must be fed.
We can also do away with the pretense of international law. Now Russia is free to kidnap and / or assassinate Zelinsky thereby ending the war quickly saving countless lives, and China is free to do the same in Taiwan thereby saving vast amounts of money Americans spend pretending they are relevant in the Pacific Theatre.

You are largely correct. Trump has shown that rules no longer apply. It is simply might is right.

Trump supporters have become a combination of Netanyahu and Lindsey Graham. I'm disgusted our government blatantly disregarded international law and murdered many innocent Venezuelans unprovoked.

Look at how angry you appear to be. Why because you disagree with a post? 90% of his followers are ampt up and angry a bunch of little dogs with loud barks. Let's be real anyone that is actually going to throw a punch is quite calm and collected not loud and erratic!
Venezuelans gathered outside El Arepazo in Doral, calling the moment historic after President Trump said Nicolas Maduro was captured and removed from Venezuela.

To the people here who aren’t demented old fools, this is a privately owned site. As a result, the owners can determine what speech is acceptable and what isn’t. If you don’t like it, you’re free to create your own site and say whatever the fvck you want, but Armstrong wouldn’t do that cause he’s worthless and lazy.
Now people at work are talking about if a nuclear war that destroys the planet is for the better. We see evolution being put back and democracy falter. This bullying from US will atleast stop if someone pushes the nukes. I don't share that sentiment, but I believe more people in Europe will
There was a warrant for Maduro in New York dating back to the Biden Administration. The rest of your argument loses its validity.
US law does not extend to other sovereign countries. That is why Biden didn't invade Venezuela to arrest Maduro. It took this gangster administration to do that.
If the US were truly gangster, we’d take over New Zealand in a second just to do it. But the world doesn’t run on sheep. It runs on oil. And Venezuela stole from US and European oil companies. Additionally, its instability cost America billions with the refugee crisis Venezuela created through mismanagement of the infrastructure they stole from US corporations.

The site publishes in the public domain so it is subject to the laws that govern public speech. As a private site it may not have to grant the widest freedom of expression - there are sports sites for example that don't permit doping discussion - but it will be accountable for anything it does allow to be published. It is thus a bit like that old fashioned media, a newspaper. But if it purports to stand for free speech - which the owners have said it does - then the American standard is the First Amendment. You can say virtually anything short of inciting a crime, but you might also run the risk of defamation.
However the key feature of free speech is that views can be expressed that others may strongly disagree with or even be offended by. There is an adage about the heat in the kitchen.
