And during the first election the Venezuelan president was popular. He would possibly have lost now, but as we see from history US is more interested in having states with US friendly governments than democratic elected leaders. So blaming Venezuela for not being a democracy falls on deaf ears
No he's not popular. WTF are you talking about? 25% of the population of Venezuela has fled the country. Maduro's elections are stolen and not legitimate.
Oh look another American who's an expert on Venezuela politics.
Trump promised less wars. I’m not surprised he’s given us more
MAGA is not against war. They’re against ENDless wars. Trump doesn’t have the patience for endless proxy wars. He wants to go in “so quickly” “quicker than ever before” and move on. This is what he has done in Iran and now Venezuela. It’s obvious he wants to control the oil which benefits American companies. Whether you agree or disagree, it really doesn’t matter. It’s what he’s doing. Vote in 2028 if you want change and hope your candidate wins.
Correct. In and out with no American casualties. War over in a day, just like the Iran strike.

1. I forgot about us removing Noriega in Panama. It actually took two weeks and US soldiers died.
2. We must have had people on the inside right? How can you extract the leader of a country with no deaths?
3. Trump said in his press conference we're going to run the Venezuela for the immediate future. How is that possible?
It means a substantial US military presence on Venezuelan soil. The US effectively becomes the government. Running another country worked out well in Iraq, didn't it?

Venezuela population: 28.0 - 28.5 million
Venezuelans who have fled the country under Maduro: 7.5 - 8.0 million
That's pretty close to 25%. You can look those numbers up.
There are probably millions more who would have fled if their situation would have made it feasible for them to do so.
Honestly....Makes one proud to be an American....No other country on Earth could have pulled this off....Arrest a narco terrorist from inside his hidy-hole and 2 days later he appears at his arraingment in NYC...Yippee
Let this be a lesson to narco states like Columbia and Mexico....
We’re also the only country that could do this… to prevent drugs from coming in to the country… right after doing this:
Reporter: Do you envision the U.S. Military having a presence in Venezuela as the U.S. Runs that country? Trump: We are going to have a presence in Venezuela as it pertains to oil. We are going to be taking out a tremendous amount of wealth out of the ground… It goes also to the US in the form of reimbursement for the damages caused us by that country
Reprogrammable MAGA meatbags had their factory settings set back to "neocon" overnight. Freedom Fries are back on the menu, baby! By divine right, we are allowed to invade any country we want, for any reason we invent! We can kidnap democratically-elected leaders, install our own hand-picked puppet regimes, and give their most valuable natural resources to our private businesses. That's called, Defending our Freedoms, buddy. If history tells us anything, it's that nothing ever goes wrong when America does an imperialism.
Everyone in this mentally-ill, drug-addled administration belongs in prison.
