Rob was murdered by his son. It is OK if you question this, but the rest of us don’t have to play along. I am surprised nobody has asked whether he had been vaccinated. That is how stupid some of you are.

If you’re trying to imply that people are fools for claiming that guns have more lethal force than knives, why does anyone need a gun for self-protection? A knife would suffice.
I'm not in tune with Reiner's personal/political life, but he made some great movies. His run in the 80s-early 90s - hard to think of many directors to cover so many genres so successfully. This is Spinal Tap, When Harry Met Sally, and Stand By Me are all considered among within their genres, but I consider The Princess Bride to be his magnum opus.
This is Spinal Tap, a close second, might be his best and most influential movie. I still put it behind Princes Bride because while so many other movies have successfully copied the same style/tropes of Spinal Tap, Princess Bride is so perfect in that nobody has even able to successfully mirror it in the least bit. Nothing like it has been made successfully since. it's almost beyond being influential.
