Top teams in the NCAA don't find themselves in situations where they have to publicly address suspensions unless it is a notable issue. Drug test violations (party drugs) can be swept under the rug, academic issues can be swept under the rug as long as you meet the NCAA minimum requirement for eligibility. Even arrests for MIP, public intox, or fake ID can be swept under the rug in sports like cross country and track. This is going to be really exciting to watch unfold.

Look at Duane Ross. Just 10 years and 1 month after his own dropping ban ended, he was hired to make $450k per year to lead the Tennessee program after leading NC A&T to great success. Two months later, his own son Randolph Ross who was a star at A&T was banned. A few months after that another star at NC A&*T was banned - Grace Nwokocha.
I’m not saying he doped them. But there is no doubt that he got a huge job in part because of those athletes. You guys remember when Randolph was a 43.85 runner. This year he ran 45.41.

Lot's of posters will be disappointed when it is announced who it is and it is not the kids that they want it to be.

Runners are getting cut by programs simply because there is a new coach. I find it highly unlikely that departments couldn't just get rid of athletes that are caught do anything.
