Laros is officially the favourite for Tokyo. At the moment, the gold medal is his TO LOSE.
Flotrack is putting up a free stream for this one for those in the US.

Anass "I hate running" Essayi finishing half a second off the podium is funny
The separation from Laros the last 100m was insane!
Goose laid an egg in the last 200m. Laros is looking so sharp in all of these races powering away with it in the homestretch. Going to be tough to beat at worlds
Always nice to see a GST sell out miss out on the World Champs.
Messed up his peak, didnt get paid and misses the World Champs.
Inside job from MJ, low key hilarious.
His interview that citius posted yesterday he was coughing...a lot. Don't think he should have been doing a work out that gave him track hack the day before a race which tells me he got sick sometime between Silesia and now. Not to be "his excuse" but something off.
Wow super impressed by Laros again
Reynold, though, always seems to have too much work to do but good close again and first sub 3:30 for him
Solid tactical race by Nuguse until the last 200 when it became crystal clear he's in 330 shape rather than 327.
It's inarguable - Laros is the clear favorite for Tokyo

Holy Laros what was that last 100
In a 3:29 race???
12.5 last 100 25.9 last 200m 53.4 last 400m

The discus competition is underway, so we can now discus!
Is Habz the most obvious doper of all time? 3:30 here fading. That 3:27 in Paris was BLATANT
AIU needs to test him every day between now and worlds.

Jakob would have outkicked this teenage wonder wannabe easily! 3:29.20 is a walk in the park for Ingebrigtsen.

3:29.20 PR with big kick.
Of course Jakob has run sub 3:27 so we will see.
Time to regroup for next season. Maybe layoff the indoor season and consider 5k. He'll never beat a guy like Laros or Hocker when it counts.

Yes but he will not run 3:26 in a championship race
He has shown that he can close with a 53 low in a 3:29 race. That is what you need to win these days and his tactics are just perfect

12.7 to run 3:29.9 for Reynold with some extra distance too is his best showing yet though. It feels unlikely he could win given his always-poor positioning, but a medal seems possible for the first time IMO.
Laros just one-upped anything we saw at USA Champs. I think only he and Hocker can run 12.5 off a 3:29 type pace with Koech banged-up and untested at that pace, and no signs that Kerr/Jakob/Koech can do it.
The Goose is Lose.
Watching Laros win with the Flotrack commentary by Steve Cram made me think, he looks a lot like a young Cram physically, anyone else see that?

Because he won 3 diamond leagues? LOL. Same morons here saying Jakob was the favorite. And don't give me the kick BS,
