We already know that Salt Typhoon broke into Vance's phone during the election campaign. Yet here they are texting each other on national security matters.
A secure texting app? Anyone who has studied cyber security at all knows that there is no such thing. I'll share a funny story from IT guru Mike Myers on the subject:
Mike's buddy had a new server in his office that he was extremely proud of, and he bet Mike that Mike couldn't hack into his server. Mike quickly confirmed that hacking the server from outside was impossible which came as no surprise. So what does he do instead? He puts on an old work nametag, strolls right past the receptionist with a big smile like he belongs there, unplugs the server, and carries it to the trunk of his car. His buddy calls him and asks him how the hell he hacked his ultra-secure server. Mike says "Go check your server room!". Mike won the bet.
Hegseth and Vance likely have zero training in cyber security. Someone like Mike could have his way with them all day every day. Salt Typhoon = hundreds if not thousands of Mikes. Same story in Russia, North Korea, Iran, etc.
These clowns need to be assigned some cyber security experts to walk them around on a leash 24/7. Amateur hour nonsense.
