It’s how we learn about sex development, among other things. so insistent that this study exists solely because of “child mutilation” is stupid. The COVID vaccines and boosters reduce the likelihood of infection and transmission (if you’re not infected or your viral load is low, you can’t transmit) for substantial periods of time and provide very long last protection against severe disease and death.

Unfortunately if payments are delayed then long running experiments are canceled, reagents are lost, and people leave their work.
