The stream is free to watch in all countries, except in Norway where the race is on the biggest TV channel (originally because Karoline Bjerkeli Grøvdal will attemp a NR.)
Guess the one thing that could stop this is a bad experience this nevening (feeling after the 1500 that his body is not fully recovered after the illness).
When Bekele ran a road race at the peak of his track days, he got injured during the race, which was a 15k wr attempt. He was going to destroy the wr by so much if it wasnt for the injury. Imagine if he did a half marathon and didn't get injured, and he had today's supershoes, that is the only way I could imagine anyone in thr world being able to run sub 57. I doubt we will see anything near that fast from whoever wins on Sunday. Jakob can finish the season happy with a top 10 finish though
What Banana Bread said (great username). We're never going to hear this kind of talk about Josh Kerr or Hole Cocker. Ever. Buddy can step all over them (most of the time) in the 1500 then turn around and beat down the half marathoners.
Kerr ran 61 for hm last Dec in America's Finest City
Minor point but America's Finest City half is in August. He ran the holiday half, also in San Diego, & is aided. I'm sure he could run faster but it looked more like a team time trial type thing. Dk if he was flat-out & then there's a small conversion to a flat course.
It isn´t a question about that he likes the HM. He has stated several times that it is his best distance at the moment.
I guess it is because his TRESHOLD PACE (which roughly equals the HM time) is still improving (it was already out of the chart high when he was a teenager).
So YOU might get a terrible shock if he runs sunday MR. HIGH IQ
Not that we needed more circumstantial evidence for Jakob running in Copenhagen, but I checked the story of his wifes' open Snapchat account, and she boarded a plane friday afternoon, about the exact time a plane left for Copenhagen at her local airport (and she had a short flight).
