If anything, this result makes him look pretty invincible. He had what, 200-250 meters max of drafting in that race + starting off the bend in the start? He essentially front-runned a 3:29 near the start of his season (his seasons always start late may). I wouldn’t be surprised if he got into 3:26-3:27 shape by july/august.
Only for those who don't like to see Jakob put in his place after his excuses and putdowns of other runners.
Armstrong: Jakob won, so he was the better runner. No need for any further disussion.
I didn't say that those who follow the sport can't comment - they can - but explanations from runners don't change anything and can come across as excuses. Sure - Jakob was the "better" runner by 0.03 of a second but the face-plant took away some of the glory.

He won, and so - according to you - was the better runner. No need to look any further.
It isn't hours, it takes only a few minutes to post. It is an indulgence, because none of it is important. Except to fans.
30000 posts - that's a lot of minutes. I know you have an iq problem so I'll do the math for you - you've spent at least 500 hours - two full weeks of your life time typing posts on an irrelevant forum. But we both know that it's way more than that you dishonest fck. You're a rotten, deluded man. You deserve all the misery that you get.

You contradict yourself regularly.
I didn't say he wasn't the better runner. But what he was clearly best at was throwing himself across the line. He reminded me of the collapses we see at the end of school crosscountry races.

The misery seems to be all yours.
You once spent 13h, almost non-stop, during the last World Championships, posting on here. Why do you lie about the amount of time you spend here? It's easy to check your timestamps! Grow a brain.

Imagine being 70 years old and spending countless hours on the internet arguing with strangers. You really are miserable.

You're with me every step of the way. But not smart enough to realise that. You post on nothing and no one else.

You are not smart enough to understand that I may be on here 1 hour a day, and see your dozens of posts, that you have written over the course of many hours. Try to understand the concept:
1 hour a day - able to see your dozens of posts and timestamps - able to see in one hour that you spent 12 hours on Letsrun. Grow a brain.

It's harder to imagine being you, obsessing with everything I say. But your misery is palpable.
As usual, you are wrong. I don't obsess with everything you say. It's just that you pollute many of the threads I am interested in. Glad to explain that to a mental midget like yourself.
And you said you were a journalist? Ha! Imagine you writing an article about that race. "Jakob won. That's all." You are really amongst the most dense of posters here.
I agree that the 5000m guys looked absolutely insane and Jakob has a some way to go, if he wants to compete with those guys.. Lets be honest, he is not a 100%.
That being said, he does have the time to regain his former strength and be there when it matters - Paris.
Watching the 1500m win, you cannot help to remember the wins of Jakob the last years where he has looked sooo much more comfortable and winning easy.
It is quite apparent that there are posters here who have no idea what the subject of the thread is or are simply not interested in it; the only subject that has their attention is me. Weird.

Looks increasingly that the field is catching up with Jakob. He reminds me of Ryun, who lost his early supremacy.
