Lies. US did not warned Russia. Such things are usually done not in public but via a special protocol between appropriate services ( e.g. NSA or CIA and FSB or GRU) and contain specific details. But contacts were broken 2 years ago. When some one say there was such information in the media about probability of a mass shooting in Russia, it does not mean much. Such probabilty always exists. In the US insane shooters appear every month, thus a warning may be put on every billboard and permanently there. It will be true but of no help to FBI and police.

Hamas invaded Israel and targeted women and children. Then they go back and hide behind their own women and children instead of facing the IDF on the battlefield. Ukraine continues to fight the terrorist orcs on the battlefield rather than hide amongst civilians. Russia still targets civilians anyways, even when there is no military target present. Hamas bombs their own hospital and blames it on the IDF because their own citizens are simply pawns to be used for sympathy so their cowardly leaders can siphon off the funds to live it up in a million dollar Dubai penthouse.

The Russian response to the US and UK intelligence warning is a microcosm of how corrupt and diseased Russian government and society is. At first, the Russians claimed that they had already stopped the terror plot, claiming to have killed two ISIS members who were plotting an attack on a synagogue in Moscow. This is Russian chauvinism in full bloom. Russians are better than everyone else and do not need any intelligence from the West.

Then, after the US continued to stand by its warning, the Russians claimed that it was just an attempt by the west to blackmail Russia. This is Russia as the perpetual victim of the West. Russia does no wrong and the West is always out to get Russia.

And then Russian incompetence was on full display when the attack took place. The theater had guards and metal detectors at the entrance. But security guards in Russia are much like what you see at big events in the US. Minimally armed and often old and incapable of actually taking on an armed intruder much less and ISIS terrorist. The guards at the theater ran away and hid when the terrorist arrived and started shooting. Russia has this level of security because of the 1999 terrorist attack and hostage taking at a theater in Moscow. So, when the Russians got the very public reports of a plan to do another attack on a theater, they did absolutely nothing to beef up security at the concert hall. This is because in Russian government, no one can take initiative or do anything that goes against what the superiors are doing. The higher ups in Russia did not want to do anything in response to the warning because doing so would be a concession that the US and UK intelligence apparatus was competent. Thus, when the terrorist started shooting, not only did the theater have completely inadequate security, but there are also reports that it took almost an hour before there were well armed security forces on the scene. And there were also reports of people not being able to escape the theater after running into locked doors. Video from inside the theater shows people just sitting around as the terrorists enter the concert hall. There are no announcements, alarms, nothing warning people that something bad is happening. That is because of a much larger problem, especially of late, in Russia where most of the competent people have either left the country to avoid military service or have been sent to the front lines or moved from their jobs into working in the military industrial complex.

No, again, that is not what I did. You seem to have a huge reading comprehension problem. I never mentioned anything about the relative effectiveness of US intelligence agencies. I simply responded to your incredibly stupid question - "how did the US know this was coming?" - by informing you of the existence of American intelligence agencies, and providing you with an example of what they do.

The US intelligence agencies seem to have been quite accurate about the recent attacks in Moscow and they warned the Russians (and presumably provided the Russians with intercepted communications and other evidence). The Russians seem to have ignored it all and Putin went off on some paranoid delusion. They are not very bright people in Russia.

And my personal opinion, and probably the opinion of most intelligence experts and the American public, is that US intelligence did a quite amazing job of finding Bin Laden in a house in Pakistan. That took an enormous amount of sophisticated, experienced work. But you seem to think differently, in your endless "America always sucks" campaign. We all think you should move to Russia where you would be much happier.
