Bolt is retired so it can't be him at this point. I think the next closest that is still active that people at home MIGHT know would be Sydney McLaughlin.
Unless Allison Felix got busted on her way out.
The way that Felix ran in 2022 doesn't seem like someone who was doping.
Hard to imagine that Kipchoge’s camp wouldn’t know it was coming before some rando on Letsrun and that they wouldn’t pull him from the field before the announcement came out.
Don't most sanctioned runners know months before the announcement?
Correct. Only the athlete is notified until an official judgment is made.
Lol aren't most cyclists white? There's not really a need for a "white savior" in that sport.
It wasn't for this sport, it was the sports world in general.
Media still does this, they are looking to promote white people sports. That's why we see all these other sports on TV instead of track and field: axe throwing, spikeball, teqball, beanbag toss, field hockey, rugby, lacrosse, bicycling... all sports that are mostly white. They can't move away from the cash cow of football and basketball, but they are trying to broaden their coverage into other sports. They are missing out on track and field, which is a gigantic participation sport, but they don't know how to present it and don't treat it like the major sport that it is.
rojo @wejo why is this thread listed as 'Super Hot'?
It's a detailless rumour by an anonymous poster. Never has a piece of information been more flimsy.
The poster may not really be "anonymous." It may have been rojo or wejo posting without logging on.
Rojo taking it seriously must mean he knows who the OP is or has heard the rumour himself. Or maybe at least he has checked the IP of the OP and seen it is from Iten or Monaco or such like.
Here, we might see Kipchoge that way, but the rest of the world wouldn’t recognize the name.
Unless it’s a retroactive Bolt bust.
80% of Lance Armstrong's global fame, or rather infamy, is because of his bust, confession on Oprah etc. etc. He was no bigger star than Kipchoge before that.
You're on crack. Lance was multi Tour champ, and he had the ball cancer story.
