This is effectively what ended up happening to Lance and his contemporaries. Not a whole lot of them will say “I was the clean one”.
The problem is though — and why you‘re unlikely to see it happen again — is these guys have nothing to gain from saying “we pretty much all do it” even if they have been caught themselves.
They still have to go on living their lives, and most of their friends/social circle are involved in the sport. So they’re thinking about the consequences if throwing their friends under the bus. And for what? All it would do is disenfranchise the people they’ve spent a lot of their lives around.
Point being, it’s very unlikely anybody comes out and says “yep we were all dirty” even after getting popped unless there is some sort of massive financial incentive etc.

All the good explanations have been said. I don't know if you were alive during late '90's and '00's. M.L.B. & N.F.L. players were blaming supplements & vitamins companies for their positive tests. Supplements & vitamins companies told everyone who would listen that they would be ruined in civil court if supplements & vitamins were named. M.L.B. & N.F.L. players routinely blamed one company. SARMS are easy to get via the interweb. Hell, they were selling them on Ebay until around 2017. SARMS are definitely not heavy drugs. If PEDs were allowed in professional sports, I doubt many, or any, would take SARMS. AAS, HGH and good ole testosterone would be far better options.

Maybe the agent isn't intentionally trying to mislead people but he didn't pick some random protein powder up and test positive. We are talking about seeking out grey zone drugs that are explicitly banned from supplements...
