For some reason, I think Champion Allison will win the men's 400m. That just might be my bias for the way I like his approach to it though.
The men’s 400 certainly is the race left tonight that is the most up in air…

Welteji and Moraa will have something to say about it.
Goule has looked smooth.
Why wasn't Horvat disqualified, she pushed over that Australian in the previous round?

I stand corrected…was going to say 55 and change but didn’t think think that was sensible with so much experience in the race…but Moraa will hammer so you’re right
I feel bad for those who didn't make it, but that is EASILY the best lineup for a W800 final in history...and all XX from what I can tell!

for Mu, how/where do you find motivation when you are already the top of your sport and you are only 20 years old.
She has strong competition who she knows shouldn’t be taken lightly, and she’s aiming for the world record.
Mu can become the most dominant 800 runner ever, and could possibly pull a Juantorena some day - the 400/800 double. That could be some motivation.

Watch it again. Bissett was already reeling

No she didn't. Bissett moved across Horvat and tripped. When their feet tangled, Horvat's hand came up for balance. But she did not push Bissett. And it was Bissett's fault for trying to move where there wasn't room.
If Ajee’ runs on “Pure Hate” lookout.

Pardon me, I forgot for a moment the WA ruling protecting the 800 :P
Can’t wait for this mixed 400m final!
That is exactly what I saw.

She's knocking the better part of 2 secs off her PR? Not happening this weekend. Sorry.
Miller-Uibo got a pretty bad lane for someone so big. 😬
Australia's only medals have come from ladies in field events. Hopefully Bol can pull off a miracle in the 8.
