I think Rupp has a confidence problem. Every race he sits in the middle of the pack and must be constantly thinking "how much longer can I hang on?" You never seem him take control of the race ("yea I'm the best here come at me) so when it starts to hurt, mentally he thinks he is done. I dunno, I just made up a bunch of crap but I worry the usual outcome is going to play out here

I'm enjoying the Peacock world feed. Aside from mistakeningly saying it was Rupp that went down at the aid station, they've been pretty good.

Eugene is not Japan. There is no real appreciation of the marathon in the USA on a professional level. People don't understand what it takes to run at 2:04 to 2:10 marathon.

Nobody told them there’s a marathon, or even what a marathon is.

Yeah it's $5 for the basic streaming plan (no ads). Worth it just for a final in my opinion, especially a 2 hour race. Much better than the awful tv coverage.
