Let's cut her a bit of slack. She lost her mother last year; she made a mistake with weed that cost her the biggest opportunity of her track career so far, and recently revealed she was stolen from and abused by her ex girl friend. I can forgive her attitude and cockiness when she's been through that sh*t.
On that relationship, there's been a lot of chat about this online, but it would appear Janeek Brown was the ex, and Brown has posted a vicious video online, full of "bumbaclart this, and bumbaclart that" which really doesn't paint her (Brown) in a good light. She comes across as extremely aggressive and I can totally believe she abused Sha'Carri.
It does also look like Sha'Carri has had implants too, unless its fat gain from not being in sprint form. But it all kinds signals she wont be running any time soon, so don't hold your breath.

You’re right - but a few athletes have them, and don’t seem to have had their performance affected.

Also all the people on here saying her career was over have not appeared since the weekend. She's obviously been working a lot harder than most people thought.
Admittedly she did better than I expected. Kudos to her. But, she ain't breaking any records. Being as "look at me" at possible as she is and having people around her openly talk about her breaking records does her no favors. This was a good performance. But, not close to as good as we were told she would be.

I was told on this thread that she would do much worse actually.
I don't see any reason to root against her. Not her fault that her coaches are saying she is running times she clearly isn't.
She messed up with the weed deal- stupid as it was, she knowingly broke a rule. She isn't reacting the best to what's been a tumultuous last year or so, but she is undoubtedly electric.
I remember her NCAA days. She stole the show. That athlete is still there somewhere behind a few years of maturation and confidence in her ability; what she is showing now is a feigned confidence, don't get it confused.
Yes she is a very good sprinter. I hope she performs well at upcoming meets like she did at the Pre meet.

You must be new to T&F. All sprinters do is talk about how great they are and how they are going to break records. Sprinters have the biggest egos in the sport.
After all the turmoil Richardson has been through, this was a huge performance. She simultaneously shut up all the haters who thought that she was a flash in the pan and excised all the demons from the 2020 Olympics. To be able to come back from the disaster of 2020 with just a low key warm up race and then stepping right onto the world stage at Pre is a big accomplishment.

What a misogynistic post. I’m a pro runner and recently got a boob job. I can assure you, it doesn’t hinder performance… if anything, my confidence has made me perform better. Mine is so modest, like her, it’s hard to tell u less you google photos of me. Also, why doesn’t anyone talk about Alice Wright’s obvious breast augmentation- yes she’s had them for years now, but it’s obvious she got later breast for her small frame with no body fat.
I’m sure, like me, she consulted with the best surgeon who assured her the size she got will not hinder performance. Considering her performance at the NYC Grand Prix, I’m sure you feel quite pathetic

Having extra non muscular weight categorically hinders performance and suggesting someone pointing this out is misogynistic says more about you than the OP... maybe revisit your confidence as your lack of it is glaringly obvious amidst your unnecessarily spikey (and incorrect) response. This is a woman who should have been maturing for 3 years during which she has shaved just 0.03 seconds off her 100m time... I'm sure she has been training hard and so it seems incredibly likely she'd be approaching top 3 all time records if she hadn't got implants.
