Tuohy was 5 seconds down on gear, an NCAA runner up in her own right and 4:09 1500 runner. Not a choke, just goes to show that Gear deserves some respect as well. Tuohy still had the faster split.
I got rough splits for Vess 4:17, Bush 4:13, Shaw 4:15, Tuohy 4:10. For Arkansas Van Camp 4:17 Jolly 4:15 Gregory 4:11 Gear 4:11. Like I said, NC State could run good and it might not be enough
Those are two solid team times...going off of your updates, Tuohy and Gear both must have been in the 4:09/4:10 range. I believe thats right at Gears PB and likely a new PB for Tuohy.

Will be nice to see that one if it gets posted.
The splits will be posted, I'm guessing within the hour.
Wow, there was a lot of pushing on that final lap! Two anchors fell going into the final turn (~200m to go), but both got up and kept running. Other pushing took place on the final turn, no one fell, but the runners were three wide coming into the final stretch. Texas just had the best final gear, while it looked like Virgina could have gotten it if the race was another 15m... final lap in 54 seconds.
