You guys are missing the point here… these coaches don’t spend a lot of time on form. Most coaches have their athletes in strength based/higher volume programs. More miles teaches the body to run efficiently and fluidly. Now sprint mechanics at the end of a race, that’s a different story
Oh and I meant to also add that drew hunter simply put does not run enough mileage…. 50-70mpw with swimming doubles is never going to get you to run 13:05 unless you’re insanely talented, most of us have to put in 100mpw consistently for years
Agree with Rojo, what I don 't get is that a brand like adidas sign athletes without a system in place, where a young athlete learns what a pro life is.
Collegiate athletics does that to a certain point, it sure gives some experience.
Despite how obvious we agree it is, we still have benighted posters here arguing in denial of that. If Hunter isn't highly dissatisfied with the receipts of that contract thus far then he's already mailing it in.
